The following rules are intended to maintain the vehicle in prim condition. Please treat the car as your own and everything will be absolutely fine! I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed during your rental experience. Refuel only with 87 Regular gas https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/203990570-Prohibited-uses **NO OFFROADING*** Off roading is STRICTLY PROHIBITED according to Turo's policies and guidelines. **NO SMOKING*** Do not smoke in or near the car. Please kindly do not bring any cigarettes, cigars, or plants of any kind inside the car. Any smell of this sort will incur Turo surcharges. Additional cleaning charge to restore vehicle's condition may apply and you may not be eligible for renting again. Please remove all items from the vehicle prior to return, this includes bags, clothing, napkins, trash, dirt, sand, etc or purchase the extra post-trip cleaning fee. Pets are welcome with prior notice but please return the car clean to avoid any cleaning fees. I have other renters who may be allergic to fur Drive carefully in respect to road rules and guidelines. Enjoy the car and trip! A great experience is my most important attribute Please stay safe out there and don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. Thank you!

  • Do I need to clean the car at the end of the trip?

    Yes please. All Car-Sharing platforms require the guest to return the car in similar interior and exterior condition as received. You may skip this step by purchasing our very affordable post-trip cleaning extra.

  • How do I go about tolls?

    The car is fitted with an EZ-pass transponder for your convenience. No need to stop and pay. I'll bill you the toll charges after I receive the invoice at the end of your trip

Car smells really bad, says car is in boston but actually 40 min from the city of boston. Gave me car with no gas and tried to charge me because i brought it back with no gas when he had told me not to fill it up.

*thorough review* First and foremost, Cyrus was great to work with. He was flexible with pick up and drop off locations. He responded quickly for the most part of the trip. I had the vehicle for 2 days and returned it early and Cyrus worked well with my requests. I will admit that I asked him to relocate the pick up and drop off points as it would be closer, but it resulted in parking problems. I’ve decided to break down this 4-star review into the pros and cons of our trip. Pros: - Car had no physical issues - Flexible pick up and drop off - Responded quickly to questions - Price to rent was reasonable (better than corporate companies like Hertz, etc) - Mileage (about 30 mpg) - Inexpensive to refuel (about $30) - leather interior, plenty of space for 3-4 suitcases - Contactless pick up & drop off - Equipped with an EZpass so you don’t have to pay at tolls (we decided to, though so we wouldn’t have to later) Cons: - Parking. If you’ve never driven in Boston traffic or parallel parked, this is a huge issue! We struggled for a good 10 minutes to get out of a parallel-parked space when picking up and took about 30 minutes to find a place to park and return the Jeep. Highly stressful!!!! - The Jeep is a fuel/energy saver type and does turn off when you press the brake. It was a bit alarming at first but I acclimated. It’s a little annoying but isn’t a deal breaker. - Interior had not been cleaned prior to our trip. There were finger prints and hand prints along the doors and particles of debris throughout the car. It could’ve used a good vacuuming and wipe-down, especially being in a pandemic! The outside could have been run through a car wash to clean it up a bit. Overall, the trip was a success and having Cyrus as a host was a good experience. He was helpful and knowledgeable. The pros outweighed the cons. There are pros and cons to everything so I gave a 4/5 star review. Always room for improvement!

Hi Thanks for the ‘thorough review’ you praised the Jeep’s great gas mileage. The auto start/stop feature is a contributor to that. There’s a button to turn it off to avoid the inconvenience in traffic. I also accomodated a closer pickup request for you without charging a delivery fee. If you’d have picked up and dropped off the car at the location, you wouldn’t have had to worry about parallel parking. Lastly the car was cleaned and disinfected as per Turo’s police before the trip.
