Everything went smooth. Adiy location is a 15 minute walk from Florida Amtrak station. Car was great and clean. Adiy was easy to contact and made it easy for drop off. Would definitely use again if I go back to CO.

After the amazing goat rodeo known as renting and returning this vehicle early was over, the fact that another young person recently posted that this vehicle was "a beast" should have set off alarm bells. It didn't. (I'm not sure what that young person put this vehicle through.) The vehicle did fine around town. But after flying to Denver, we wanted to be in the mountains, so Mt. Evans here we come, with four non-obese adults and a small cooler of ice and drinks. Three miles into the mountains on I-70 west of Denver, the transmission went from all wheel drive to no wheel drive. Pedal floored, we were barely able to keep 40 mph on the speedo on a packed interstate. Semi trucks belching black smoke were passing us with our hazards on in the slow lane creeping up the hill. Four miles into the mountains was all this 2015 Nissan Rogue could handle. We were, however, able to limp another tense mile to the buffalo overlook exit at Genesse Mountain Park. We pull off and park in a spot sloped gently downward and open the hood to see the problem. One of the adults in our family works in the auto industry and checks the tranny fluid. No burnt smell and enough fluid on the dipstick. The air filter is way past needing changing, so we beat it on a rock. Nothing seems to be obviously wrong, no smoke and fluids leaking, but our grand family mountain adventure was now over. Our immediate problem, however, is that we have no reverse gear, so three adults pile out and push the pathetic vehicle out of it's parking spot. At least we have a forward gear and a downhill run back to Denver, so off we go to find Adiy. On the way, we Google "2015 Rogue tranny problems" and we find a lot of bad news. Class action lawsuits against Nissan over transmission issues. (If you rent this vehicle, you should Google this info first.) We meet with Adiy and he thinks we just don't know how to drive such a fine vehicle. "Nobody has every had any trouble with this vehicle before." Well, if it had a flat tire, would you say that 'nobody has ever had a flat tire in this vehicle before'? Duh. So Adiy graciously allows us to swap to his 2010 red Toyota Rav4 and off we go, until we get to our first major intersection. The brake pedal goes to within a half inch of the floor, so that I can't get the sole of my left shoe under it. I'm not sure that I will be able to stop in time. I'm thinking it needs some brake fluid and pull over to check it. It's low but not empty. I can't handle this crap. I call Adiy (maybe I screamed, I can't remember) to meet again for yet another vehicle. He tells me that he is going to just cancel my entire reservation and have me go my own way. I plead with him that I'm not a kook, I have my entire family with me with no other ready alternative transportation and that I'm just pissed that he sent us off in two non road worthy vehicles in a row. He tells me that all Toyota brakes go within a half inch of the floor. (I own and drive a 2011 Toyota Camry and know that's simply not true.) He agrees to give me one last chance to prove that I don't just get my jollies by test driving multiple used rental cars for fun and profit. with my entire family tagging along. He puts me in his 2010 white Ford Escape Hybrid and all is well, but the family trip to Mt. Evans is now a goner forever. The thing that pissed me off the most is that Adiy brushed off every one of my concerns, so it is up to the folks that rent this Rogue (and the Rav4) in the future to post your experiences. Will it climb that mountain or won't it? Adiy does get 5 stars from me for at least giving me one last chance to find a suitable vehicle in his stable of small SUVs and we did. My advice, however, is to rent his white 2010 Ford Escape Hybrid with the dent on the passenger front fender. (I think his ad incorrectly shows it as a 2009.)

Adiy’s drive was a beast. Colorado has the coolest roads and his Nissan got me through the hardships of high elevation. 4WD is the must have option when it comes to traveling in Denver. Adiy got the thing you want for your vacation.
