Description

Been wanting to test drive a Tesla? Or take a cross-country trip without spending a dime in fuel? With free unlimited supercharging, you can use any of the hundreds of Tesla superchargers (https://www.tesla.com/supercharger) for free or thousands of other EV chargers (https://www.plugshare.com) for little to no money. Any electrical outlet can charge this car. If you're going to drive a fast car, don't settle for less. Our performance Model X has a 0-60 of 3.2 seconds--it is known to cause uncontrollable giggling from your passengers. With a beautiful white interior and all the fancy upgrades, this is such a pleasure to drive--heated seats, premium sound system (now with Spotify!), and a smooth ride, plus plenty of space to haul your toys. With autopilot (2.0), you'll never want to go back to another vehicle. It really makes road trips and commuting relaxing. Car seats, booster seats, and strollers are available upon request. Trailer hitch is available but restrictions apply. There is plenty of room for skis if you put down one of the seats, leaving room for four. Please have a plan for keeping the car charged, especially on longer trips. Trying to survive on a 120v outlet will be difficult, as it can only charge the car about 3 miles per hour. Many hotels offer EV chargers, and Tesla Superchargers are common in larger cities. No travel outside of the United States, no off-road (including Salt Flats). --Free Supercharging --Free Return Charging (please leave at least 40 miles) --Free Exterior Return Cleaning

Faqs

  • How do I use a supercharger?

Tesla superchargers are located in most cities and along most major interstates across the US. Using the on-board navigation will automatically direct you to superchargers as needed per battery life. Simply back into an available stall, open the charge port door (see guest instructions) and plug the charger in. Superchargers are incredibly fast, but charge a depleted battery much more quickly than a charged battery. PLEASE NOTE Tesla charges an idle fee if the car remains plugged in after charging is complete. If this charge occurs, it will be added to your rental fee.

  • How do I use autopilot?

The cameras are constantly monitoring for lanes. Once a lane is detected, a gray steering wheel icon will appear on the dashboard, just to the right of the speedometer. When the icon is visible, pull the cruise control stalk towards you--once to engage cruise control, and once again to engage autopilot. The icon will turn blue and chime to inform you when it's engaged. Brake, turn the wheel, or push forward on the stalk to turn off autopilot. Autopilot is in beta, so you are fully liable for safety. Please keep a hand on the wheel and be ready to take control (the car will require this, or eventually autopilot will be disabled for that trip). Don't use autopilot on city streets, as stop lights and stop signs are not yet recognized by autopilot. However, it does an excellent job of following cars at a safe distance, changing lanes safely (turn on the turn signal and the car will automatically change lanes), and staying in the center of the lane.

So easy and such a perfect, fun way to get around. We loved the car itself, but it was also easy to communicate with Barrett about everything. Especially if you are looking for a safe, fun way to get out of the house during these weird times, this is the perfect escape.

This car is beautiful! The owner was on point with pickup and return. Car has very rare perforated seats and very comfy. Two things to note though. 1. Range is 210 miles. So plan distances carefully. 2. Owner only has the adapter that charges at 17 miles per hour. So you park it, get an uber to your hotel and back the next day. Only useful overnight and honestly that defeats the purpose of renting in the first place. Or you drive all the way up to salt lake for a supercharger that takes 30 mins. He said he is going to get the adapter for faster 50kW that will charge much faster. This will make the experience a lot less stressful and give you many options. Other then that I would highly recommend the car!
