Super easy. We arrived, were met and driven to the car. Drop off was so easy too and made our trip in Iceland that bit more special.

Our car was perfectly fine for our trip, but I can’t say Jon Olli’s support was bad because it was actually nonexistent. When we landed over the course of an hour I tried calling Jon 4 times and left 4 or 5 messages through the app, but he never responded to any of them. I got a hold of Turo customer service and they couldn’t get a hold of him either. Luckily our pickup eventually showed up late, but there was no apology from whoever it was that actually picked us up and he had no idea who Jon Olli was. 7 days later and I just dropped off the vehicle and I still haven’t heard one response from Jon. This was the most expensive car I’ve ever rented combined with the worst customer service. This was my first time to use Turo and will most likely be my last.

I rented this care for an 8-night trip to Iceland hoping to be able to go on F-roads should I need. This car was just not good and we did not feel comfortable taking it on F-roads. The GO Car Rental team, however, were absolutely great. They were very responsive and met us at the airport to take us to the car. They allowed us to bundle a mobile wi-fi hotspot which was great. PROS: I was picked up right at the airport and transported to the car. Communication was great-- prompt, helpful. The wifi-fi worked great throughout the trip. We could not have survived without it. CONS: This car is just not good. Probably one of the worst cars I have ever driven. Power: Its 4 cylinders make it seem as though the engine is going to explode if you go more than 60km/h-- and that's going on a flat road. There were multiple times when I was going uphill at a modest incline with my foot pressing the accelerator as far down as it would go and was maxing out at 80km/h (speed limit being 90km/h) and nearly red-lining the engine. I literally could not go fast enough to keep up with the flow of traffic up a hill with the pedal literally to the metal. Suspension: SUPER stiff. Even on simple gravel roads it's as though you feel ever speck of gravel you go over. It's jarring. We got this car so that we could go on F-roads but very early on in the trip we realized we were barely comfortable going on non-paved roads (especially uphill), let alone attempting F-roads. I would not recommend taking this vehicle on an F-road. Space: Tiny tiny tiny. I don't know what I expected. There were two of us on the trip and with our three bags apiece this thing was stuffed to the brim. There's no way you could carry four people (despite the vehicle's four seats) and their luggage in this car. Overall, I would much rather have spent far more money to get a car that felt more reliable and didn't constantly have me worried that I was about to be stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Gravel roads in Iceland are a serious deal. We had two flats but luckily got the right help. If you are driving on these types of roads make sure you get a car with huge wheels. 4x4 monster truck style. Speaking about F35 road specially.

Jon and the Go Car team were great to rent from and very responsive. Simple and straightforward pickup and drop off. The Jimny was also a lot of fun. Snow tyres, deceptively spacious and retro styling at is finest. Enjoyed, thanks Jon, will definitely rent again
