Guidelines

THIS VEHICLE IS SUBJECT TO DIFFERENT TERMS AND POLICIES THAN A STANDARD TURO RENTAL. BY REQUESTING THIS VEHICLE YOU ARE AGREEING TO THESE OTHER TERMS: No hauling or transporting large items. Luggage and other bags/small items are allowed but please be careful loading and unloading items and DO NOT haul large and/or dirty items in this car. Detailed before pictures are uploaded prior to each rental and any scratches and permanent scuff marks requiring extensive cleaning or repairs will be passed on to you. Vehicle is supplied clean, so please try to keep it as orderly as possible. MODERATE CLEANING – UP TO $50.00 - Car exterior is returned significantly dirtier than it was received (excess dirt on body, wheels, or windows) - Floor mats or upholstery are returned significantly dirtier than they were received - Large amounts of food, dirt, or mud that cannot be shaken out and must be heavily vacuumed to remove. - Light stains or residue on hard surfaces (liquid spills or sticky substance) HEAVY CLEANING - $100.00 - Major stains or residue on seat fabric or other hard- to- clean surfaces SEVERE CLEANING - $150.00 - Situations in which the vehicle requires steam cleaning or a full detail Pets are NOT allowed. We ask this to avoid issues with allergies. Any pet hair found in vehicles will incur in an additional fee of $150.00. This could be avoided by purchasing the ‘Pet Fee’ Extra. Absolutely NO SMOKING (of anything). If the vehicles smells of any kind of smoke or marijuana, you will be fully responsible for all costs associated with having the vehicle decontaminated ($150+). If the vehicle is returned with multiple cleanliness issues, a maximum fee of $250.00 will be applied. The fuel level is marked on the Agreement, please return it the way we had released the vehicle to you or the actual cost of fuel plus surcharge of $30.00 will be applied. No overnight street parking with or without permit. Please park in a secure garage or driveway. You will be responsible for the parking of the vehicle. Any pending parking tickets caused within the rental period will be charged on the provided credit card, plus an additional handling service fee of $35.00. 407 ETR: Toll Pass/Transponder is NOT included. All Toll charges accrued during rental hours will be passed on to the renter, plus an additional service fee of $35.00. NOTE: You can place your own transponder on the dash if you do plan on using the 407 ETR to avoid additional costs. No Street Racing, Careless or Stunt Driving; our vehicles perform and handle nicely, and we want you to experience it. But do it very responsibly and under the correct conditions. When you sign the Agreement, you acknowledge that the car is monitored through a third-party tracking system to log in real-time any signs of abuse on our vehicles including: racing, drifting, deactivate traction control, intensive braking, irregular pedalling, and lower chassis bumps. The tracking system logs and fetches data in real-time. The issue would be reported to TURO, third party’s data would be supplied, resulting defects.   • Flexible with mileage?

    Yes I am. Long term guests, feel free to message me in regards to any requests. We can certainly make it work!

  • Do you clean the cars between rentals?

    We take pride in providing clean cars to our guests. Exteriors are washed and interiors are vacuumed and wiped down between each trip.

  • Can I take my rental to the race track or go four- wheeling?

    Please no racing, autocross, off-roading, towing or other activities that might damage vehicle or cause excessive wear and tear. These activities are against TURO Terms of Service and will void your protection plan. The car is tracked in real- time for driver behaviour including top speed, rapid acceleration will be responsible for any mechanical if found due to misuse of the vehicle.

  • Do I need to clean the car before returning it?

    We ask that you remove any trash prior to your return. You do not need to clean the exterior. Keep in mind, any excessive cleaning required (spills, stains) are subject to a cleaning charge.

Started off with not being able to offer the car we booked. Things happen, luckily he was able to offer a replacement but it was a mini van so it required more fuel than an SUV. He was then half an hour late. The vehicle was also not cleaned before it was dropped off. Food stains and food wrappers in the car. Probably not cleaned to Covid safe Turo policies. Next windshield wiper fluid low and no replacement jug in the van. It is also winter and do you think there was a brush in the car to remove the snow? No! Also when we were return back home he called and said he was early and could pick up the car early if we were done. I told him we would need the full time even though he was 30 minutes late to drop off the car he wanted the car back early. My wife and I returned and he was in the parking lot waiting for us, he watched as my wife and I unloaded the car and since it was Christmas the car was packed. We will not be renting from James in the future.

This Is A Fake Review. Customer Charged $250 for cleaning for stains and animal hair all over the van. The only reason we were late because the original vehicle got damaged and we had to switch him out last minute and the customer was given ample notice of the change. We were waiting the vehicle for your return and you parked near us. Not sure why you think we’re watching you. I told you in advance you’re being charged for being so dirty and treating the van like a farm. Please don’t rent again
