My First time using turo and the experience could not have been smoother! Matthew was great with communication and instructions and working with me. Will for sure be coming back in the future and booking with Matthew again!

Matthew was great & his vehicle served us very well for our short trip to Banff! If ever in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to rent through Matthew again. The parks pass was a great perk as well.

Great vehicle, very clean and came with a Banff National Park Pass! Matthew was great! 10/10 would recommend for anyone who wants to travel stress free!

Pickup and drop-off went well. Bit confusing at the start because we had 2 convo, one through sms (Matt) and another on Turo app (Johnson). They picked us up at the airport and then drove us 15mins to the drop-off spot. We do car inspection then we are on our way. No problem with the car, it was clean, full gas, and it ran well — just your usual wear and tear like small paint dents and dings on the windshield. Car included a parks pass which helped us skip the long lines, great value. They are very responsive throughout the whole trip. On the last day, we send them a message 30 mins before we bring the car back to the drop-off spot and they drove us back to the airport. Overall positive experience. We will definitely book with them again next time we are in Calgary. Highly recommended.

Matthew was responsive with messages and calls, and the check-in & check-out process was made fairly easy at the YYC airport. The car is a compact-full SUV which suits for our trip to the national parks. The car acceleration/horse power was decent, but it can feel a little weak when you are driving uphills and overtaking other cars. However, the communication experience was poor and disappointing. On the listing description it says it comes with a complimentary national park pass, but we didn’t find one in the car…There was no park pass hanging on the rear mirror in the first place when we picked up the car. Matthew insisted he pointed the pass to us and it must be somewhere in the car. The host also said that if we couldn’t find it, we probably touched/moved it so it was dropped. I still don’t know why Matthew kept saying the pass was in the car and kept saying it was there in the pictures included in the Turo app (It’s not…Mystery 2022!). We couldn’t contact him because of the poor connection near the park area. A park staff said presenting an annual pass, people can get a full refund of the daily pass purchase afterwards. We thought in that case, Matthew could help us with the refund. We ended up buying daily passes ($21/day). After we purchased the pass ourselves, he said he could only reimburse if we had bought an annual pass but not the daily ones regardless of the the refund rule at the park. We understood that the pass is just a plus of this listing, but it was upsetting that the reality didn’t meet up with the expectations and it was frustrating to deal with something like this on your vacation. Up to the return, the host still insisted he provided us with a national park pass in the trip :) I wish there was more transparency and integrity throughout the communication. The host could have told us the pass was not provided or was expired UPFRONT, and told us to buy an annual one. Or perhaps take out the “Free Park Pass” description in the listing if you do not plan to provide one, which can be very misleading. Moreover, the provided instructions need some revisions to be clearer: $30 for airport return (Matthew waived it for us but it was surprising when we found out), etc. This is my first time using Turo for a long distance and I’ll only use Turo again if I have no other choice.
