On inclines, the auto door can not close correctly and re-open so you can simply drive to a flat spot and put on break and put the gear in reverse to reengage the door to close, or simply close manually. By agreeing to this rental, you acknowledge that you are responsible for passengers' safety and securement while using the vehicle. If able to transfer to back or passenger seat, that is the safest way to transport. Still secure the wheelchair so it does not fly around and cause damage to passengers and vehicles. If you are driving the vehicle and you are a wheelchair user, you agree to secure your own chair in the vehicle and that you have experience using hand controls.
