Per Turo Policy, If guests return the car in a condition that only could have been caused by irresponsible or abusive behavior, the host can report the issue to Turo. When they do, the customer support team will review the evidence. If it clearly shows an eligible cleaning issue, Turo will charge guests a cleaning violation fee of $150 plus a 3% processing fee. In some circumstances and at complete discretion, Turo may also remove the guest from using the services. In many situations, the fastest, most cost-effective way to resolve physical damage to the vehicle is to work directly with the Host without Turo's involvement. Per Turo policy, we have elected to file claims directly with the guest. It allows guests to avoid paying administrative fees, appraisal costs, and any more significant than the out-of-pocket maximum tied to the guest's protection plan.
