Description

Reviewers said the 2012 Quest’s standard V6 engine provides strong off-the-line acceleration and plenty of highway passing power. The Nissan Quest is one of the few minivans that come with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and some critics complained that it causes the engine to drone during acceleration. The Quest gets an EPA-estimated 19/24 mpg city/highway, which is on par for the class. Test drivers said the Nissan Quest offers composed handling and a responsive steering system. Additionally, automotive journalists wrote that the brakes feel firm and bring the minivan to a smooth stop. Critics said the 2012 Nissan Quest has an attractive interior design, with wood trim and soft-touch materials, especially when equipped with the leather seats. Comfortable seating for all seven occupants, including people in the third row, also appealed to reviewers. However, at 108.4 cubic feet, the Quest’s maximum cargo space is significantly less than that of most competitors because its second- and third-row seats can’t be removed or folded into the floor. The Quest comes standard with push-button start and a four-speaker stereo with an auxiliary input.
