Short version, great car and host. Read entire review for finer points. I'm giving 9 /10 First impression exterior: car looks gorgeous in white, and was washed and tires polished. Car is beautiful and has presence. You have to look closely to see a few knicks on the doors and some curb rash. Looks great. You really have to go looking to find any flaws. Overall good for any car with a few miles. Looks are there as well as upkeep. Interior: perforated leather and dark wood trim is gorgeous. Floor was cleaned and owner has thoughtfully installed the rubber all weather mats on floor including the trunk. Very good idea. Plenty of cup holders and the little arm rest cubby is chilled / cooled. No funny smells. Leather was clean soft and not grimy. The steering wheel cover was somewhat torn and should probably be replaced. Seems very out of place to have a ripped up steering wheel cover in such a nice car. Gizmos: GPS is included. The address is a little tricky to type in. The "touch pad" works OK. Try writing "g" without computer understanding a "9", or a "o" for a zero. Wish main screen was touch to make address easier, scroll wheel is OK at best. Still, nice to have it built into the car. Car tried to route us into toll roads and in this post-covid no attendant world, I didn't want the owners to get tickets a month later, I was a little disappointed with the route selection. Car has a easy to use A/C system with easy to understand knobs. Autosense wipers were a bonus and definitely welcome in a car we didn't know all the controls for. Worked great as well as the auto sense lights. There is USB outlets on the back seat as well as front, very cool. Car can be switched between different driving modes with a simple knob, but comfort is really what a driver wants from something like this. Sure it has paddle shifters but the size and weight should be clear indications this is not a sports car, and should not be treated as such. There is an off road mode with something that looked like descent control, but we weren't out "mudding" so I can't speak to its merits. It has the options and since mercedes made them, I'm sure they work great. I know comfort mode does :) Size / space is plentiful. We packed for 4 for 4 days and everything fit just fine. Spacious interior with all the cubbies and pockets I could want. Mechanical: engine is smooth, shifts comfortably without any drama. 7 speed transmission means good gas mileage on long trips. We managed around 22 with the AC on. Brakes are responsive and quiet as well. No funny lights , car ran like a champ. Issue: if it wasn't for this 1 thing, this would have been a perfect score. However this 1 issue is somewhat important. We started our trip on a hot day, temperatures in the 90s. I made sure to stop and check the tires because a low level indicator and was disappointed to see a low level of tread on the tires. Tire tread is low and 1 of the tires was leaking. During a 4 day trip, we corrected the air twice. The second time, it was in some small town with the old time push-out gauge so I guessed 35. Basically, the condition of the tires was not good and we had to take corrective action on the tires as well as be cautious of wet or slippery areas because tires were below standard. Easily corrected with a trip to the shop, but we felt this 1 thing turned our fun road trip into a liability. Overall, this is a great car and provided us with everything for a great road trip. 7 some hours on the road 1 way was no big deal. Passengers dosed off because of exceptional comfort and quiet. Packed everything we needed. Were pleasantly surprised with the mileage per gallon and the large gas tank of over 20 gallons, great comfortable car for the whole family. Safe travels, everyone :)

Excellent host and overall experience. Great communication and very flexible with the pick up and drop off. I would recommend this host to anyone. The Macan was meticulously maintained and a pure joy to drive to my golf trip out of town.

This was my first time using Turo. Like many, I was very nervous using anything but a normal car rental company. But because of price I decided to give it a try. Robert made the process extremely easy for me. His professionalism, timeliness in delivery of car, updating me as needed, etc. was incredible. He answered all of my questions and was extremely courteous through the rental. The Outlander was an incredible car to rent for our trip. It was great being able to have everyone travel in one vehicle once we arrived at our Myrtle Beach destination. (we did take 2 cars because of luggage and such). I will be very comfortable with renting through this site again. My concern is that I am not sure I will find anyone as reliable and easy to work with as Robert. Car was immaculate. Had little thing you would forget to bring (cord to charge phone, mask, etc). Car was a smooth ride. Contactless exchange of receiving and dropping off vehicle. Communication was excellent with the owner. Definitely want to rent this car again in the near future.

Excellent and prompt communication from PK from beginning to end. The car was immaculate inside and out. The Macan was a smooth, quiet, and comfortable ride for me to ferry my 97 year old grandmother around, as well as a hoot to drive.
