TURO — FAQ FAQ 1 Q: How do tolls work? Do I have to pay for tolls? A: Yes, as a renter you are responsible for all toll charges. At the end of each trip, I will go through and tally up all the toll charges and request reimbursement at the end of the trip. FAQ 2 Q: Are you flexible with extensions? Returning the car early? Adjusting pick up/return time? A: Yes! The vehicle will be ready for you at your pick-up time but if you need to pick it up after that is perfectly fine. We do ask that any significant changes be made in the app under the “Modify Trip Details” section - this is particularly important if you are going to be more than 30 minutes late at vehicle drop-off or if you want to pick up the car more than 30 minutes early. If you need to extend or shorten your trip that is also flexible, pending that the vehicle is available. FAQ 3 Q: Do I need to clean the vehicle before return? A: All we ask is that you return the vehicle in the same condition you picked it up in. We don't expect for you to go out and detail the car before return, but we do appreciate the car to be tidy upon return. FAQ 4 Q: How Does Communication Work? A: Turo does require all communication to be held in the Turo app and we do ask that you please adhere to this policy. The Turo app is managed nearly 24/7 per day by myself or my partner, while my personal cell phone is not - by messaging here in the app you will get the quickest response. It is IMPORTANT that you download the Turo app and turn notifications on, otherwise you will miss important pieces of instruction for vehicle pick up. FAQ 5 Q: Are You Flexible with the Vehicle Pick-Up or Drop-Off Location? Do You Offer Delivery? A: Unfortunately, the pick-up location is not flexible, cannot be modified and we do not offer delivery. FAQ 6 Q: What if I Need Extra Mileage? A: We do offer an “Extra” where you can purchase more mileage, if you are going to go over mileage by a significant amount we do encourage you to purchase that extra. Otherwise, we do charge per mile over the allotted mileage, this charge varies depending on the car but you can find the details on the trip details page of the app. FAQ 7 Q: How Do I Add an Additional Driver? A: Please contact Turo Customer Support as we do not provide Technical Support. FAQ 8 Q: What Type of Gas Does the Car Take? Do I Need to Fill Up the Gas Tank Before Return? A: Regular unleaded, we do ask that you fill the tank to the same level you received it at before return. FAQ 9 Q: Where is The Pick-Up Location? A: The pick-up location is listed in the app on the trip details page with your reservation details.
