All of our vehicle reservations come with "contactless" pick-up. For Local Pick-up - The Vehicle will be picked up in Corona, CA near Corona Crossings. Detailed pickup instructions will be released 24 hours prior to the scheduled reservation time. For Airport Pick-up - The vehicle will be parked at the airport terminal parking, further instructions will be provided closer to the reservation start date/time. The Vehicle will have a lockbox on the driver side window and the code will be provided 1-2 hours before the reservation begins. Just enter the code and you should be able to open the box and retrieve the key. Please place the lockbox in a secure location as you will be using it again at the end of your reservation. First, we were very pleased with our rental vehicle: it was clean, drove well and smelled fresh. The pickup and drop off at the airport was easy, however I had a serious flight problem which proved difficult to resolve.
My flight was 12 hours late getting to Palm Springs. The other three people in our party arrived on time. Because the car was only to be released to me, the others would have had to sit at the airport for 12 hours. One of the others was a registered TURO driver and had been added as a second driver but initially wasn’t allowed to pick up the car. It took numerous phone calls to get the car released to him, causing a great deal of stress for everyone. Being able to get in touch with someone to give the authorization was difficult. In this particular set of circumstances getting the release could have been better.
