<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We're looking for a <strong>Director of People Ops</strong> to join our growing Turo team in San Francisco! Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Director will contribute to the continued buildout of our People Ops practices, processes and policies. <strong>(This is not a remote position.)</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who is always ready to switch hats, roll up their sleeves and dig into a project hands-on. You will serve as a point person on matters of employee relations, employee engagement, diversity, inclusion &amp; belonging, compensation, immigration, benefits administration, and that’s all in one day. As a People Ops leader, you’ll evolve the systems &amp; processes already in place so as to keep us agile, innovative, supportive and collaborative as we scale our teams globally. You'll apply a forward-thinking approach to keeping our people programs as a competitive differentiator: to attract &amp; retain top-talent while providing all Turists with a rich, supportive environment in which they can do their best work.</span></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Partner with the Chief People Officer to provide global leadership to the People Ops team that oversee all day-to-day employee life-cycle activities, projects and programs.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage, support and mentor our People Ops teammates.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Evolve our People Ops processes and programs; understand organizational needs and create &amp; drive processes, policies, and workflows that are compliant with local/state/federal statutes, and are efficient, scalable, and reflect our Turo values.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Serve as point person on total compensation programs, salary &amp; equity structure, market analysis and overall compensation philosophy; help educate managers and employees on pay practices.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Support the recruiting team and our employees by serving as the lead on all immigration matters.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Build upon our company-wide performance management programs that reward excellence and drive continuous, transparent feedback.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Create learning and development programs to prepare employees for more significant responsibilities as the company grows and to help our people leaders become better managers.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Champion diversity, inclusion &amp; belonging efforts across all teams; educating and promoting awareness, and ensuring an inclusive work environment that fosters inclusivity and allyship.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Forge strong connections and maintain open lines of communication with employees at all levels; maintain trust and communication across the organization.
