Michelle made my first Turo experience a great one! The car was easy to find and get into. I will say I was a bit nervous the second day when the car wouldn’t stay on. I quickly figured out that with TuroGo you have to “unlock” the car with the app each time or else it just shuts off shortly after starting lol. I was a fun little car to zip around SoCal. Coming from Oklahoma where gas is CHEAP, I was happy to only have to fill up once during my 11 day stay. I still give Michelle and my whole experience 5/5.

Car worked well for what we needed and has nice new tires so u can feel secure on the road. The turo go app is kind of weird to get used to but worked well. Also got very good gas mileage!

Quite possibly the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. Turo Go was a nightmare to use as it was never installed on the car when I first paid for the rental, which made it unusable when I went to use the car. I couldn’t get access into the vehicle. I had to go through Turo and cancel the trip and re book over the phone, which was a painful process as I had to re-explain to the agents 5 different times what the issue was. 2 hours on the phone later and the issue was resolved. Sort of. Turo Go then wouldn’t work for the next 2 days so we’d be locked out of the vehicle at random times for anywhere up to 20 minutes before Turo Go would work. After more phone calls, Turo Go was reset and it seemed to work for the remainder of the trip. Then the tire pressure light came in in the vehicle. Took it to a tire shop and turned out the tires were worn virtually flat. One tire was worn down to the steel belt. EXTREMELY unsafe to drive on. Tire shop wasn’t able to fix the tires as they could fail at any time and jeopardize the safety of their employees. I’d been driving my wife and kids at high speeds with a vehicle that wasn’t safe to be on the road. I had to deal with Turo yet again on the phone which was always a painful experience. The trip was cancelled and fully refunded but I was stuck at the tire shop and had to walk to a car rental agency to get a vehicle to finish off the trip with. Amazing trip to California with one big blemish. A terrible experience with Turo. I will be pursuing this further with Turo as I can’t believe this vehicle was allowed to be rented in that unsafe condition. Pay a bit more and rent from a reputable company!!
