My wife and I rented Kaleo’s vehicle for about a week. It was during the Covid-19 freak out on the Big Island so we actually had to cut our trip short by about 3 days in order to leave before the borders closed. Kaleo was really flexible and willing to meet us early without being upset. The car functioned amazingly and was perfect for our our adventures and in town excursions. The only thing is that if you decide to go with Kaleo’s car that you have an expectation to take some time out of your trip to take it to the car wash and get it vacuumed. Also be careful as to how much sand you bring into the car as it’s really hard to get out! Besides that, amazing car, and amazing host! Mahalo

Kaleo is a great host. He picked us up at the Kona airport, went over the car with us and made arrangements for the return. When we had to return 5 days early due to the COVID-19 situation, he was very accommodating, met us near the airport and then drove us to the airport to catch our flight.

This was a great car to tour the Big Island, and dealing with Kaleo was a breeze, as his previous reviewers have stated. Can’t go wrong with this rental :)
