The car was mechanically sound however it did have some issues. There’s some shoddy paint work on the rear end. The interior was a bit worn. The passenger side door panel was practically falling off. I feel like at some point the car was in a major accident and has been put back together but not everything fit. Just didn’t expect this new of a car to be in such rough shape.

Hey Bryan , thanks for your feedback. The car is schedule for a paint job, yes. It has a small touch up in the rear that you can’t even really see tbh. Sorry it bothered you that much along with the other minor things. I’ll take care of these cosmetic issues. Car is 12 yrs old btw ! :) It’s never been an accident to clarify too! Be well.

From bad to worse. I picked the car up late at night and did not see all the wear and tear inside and out on the vehicle. Victor explained there was a side light and fog light out that he was unable to fix it and was planning on disconnecting the other side. He also pointed out the multiple warning lights that would continually appear on the dash, which were not only worrisome during our trip but the occasional beeping became annoying. In a review from August 2019, these same malfunctions were reported. The drivers side window would not quite roll up all the way, making it very noising on the freeway. The trunk lid also looked like it had been repaired and painted with a rattle can as you could seen significant paint drips. The interior was worn but I guess that should be expected for a 12-year old car with 102,000+ miles on it. Upon returning the car, I was texted to leave the keys in a key box attached to a chain link fence. As I approached, there was a very large dog barking ferociously with the hair on the back of its neck sticking up. When I attempted to put the key in the key box, the dog was jumping on the fence at me (which was only 5' high) and was becoming increasingly aggressive. I was unable to access the key box and I thought the dog was going jump the fence and attack me. I stepped back, looked to my wife and daughter who were there to pick me up, and in a panic, gently tossed the key fob over a 6' wooden fence directly to the left. I immediately sent Victor a message and he said he would check it out when he returned. I had asked for a credit (no specific amount) for the overall experience and this obviously did not sit well, as he responded the key fob was broken (no details or pictures), and he was reporting this to Turo and he would not be issuing any credits. He then followed up with this concerning message "Upon return, I found some damage to the vehicle. I understand these things happen, so I'd like to work with you directly to settle up the cost of the damage -it will be cheaper and faster than going through the official claims process with Turo" Again, no details were given. After I cooled off, I sent him a message this morning that I had not been in any accidents and when I returned the car, there was no damage. I have since requested details and photos of his claims and will be contacting Turo. Stay tuned...

Harley was the worst at communicating throughout the trip. He wanted me to let him pick up the car prior to the starting time. When he showed up I have explained that there we two light indicators flashing on the dashboard. No check engine or mechanical issues. He returned the car late, and dirty. He claimed my dog was out but I have called him to indicate how to figure it out the car return/key dropped off. He broke the key fob and called me insulting instead of trying to resolve the issue.
