The car was listed as a clean, 2013 Honda Civic and I met the owner, Joe, at his work to pickup of the vehicle. I was surprised to find that the vehicle was very dirty inside - both seats and the floor - and smelled of tobacco smoke. When I started to drive away, the tire "low pressure" warning light came on. I drove back and showed Joe who claimed he was not aware of this. I agreed to take the car to Costco to have them fill up the tires. All the tires needed to be filled and the technician noted that the passenger reat tire was very low and probably leaking. Once I drove away from Costco, the "low tire pressure" light went off. The next morning the "low tire pressure" light came on again. I only rented the care for 48 hours and in that time the rear passenger tire went from 30 PSI to 10 PSI. Obviously this was not a fluke. I was very disappointed that the car was not working probably, and was not taken care of nor even clean. I did communicate this with the owner, Joe and he apologized and gave me a $10 /day credit. I'm not sure I would use Turo again after this experiene. Turo also needs to do a better job to make sure their care owners are providing safe and clean vehicles for people to rent.
