It was first time I rented a car. I would say it was amazing experience. I highly recommend to choose Vanessa’s cars and Vanessa as well. He is very responsible, reliable and answer your questions very quickly if you have any questions of course.

I had the town and country van for 30 minutes before I stopped at a gas station to grab a drink. When I returned to the vehicle it would not start. I contacted Turo to only be hung up on I also reached out to the car owner directly only to be told that he is sleeping with his daughter and cannot answer the telephone. I sent a picture of the error on the dashboard, only to be told by the driver to open the hood and wiggle the cables. I again contacted Turo to be hung up on again, terrible customer service. The owner of the vehicle had the car towed from the gas station and I had to rent another vehicle with a car rental company for three times the amount of money I was charged by Turo. If you rent a vehicle and you have a problem with the car and it is not working, especially after midnight I should not half to go back and forth with a company to have it fixed immediately. I will never do business with this company ever again and have advised all of my friends to do the same. I have reached out to my bank and I am currently disputing the charge, this is not how you conduct business. Also Turo sent me a email after one week to tell me that the car owner said that I had the rental van for 1 day, instead of 30-45 minutes and that they will charge me for the one day and refund the rest and will give me a 50.00 credit on a future rental. I am just glad that I have all my receipts and copies of the text messages with the car owner an also the web chat with Turo confirming what time I called them to report the van not starting because it has been nothing but a struggle from the first call or text message with the owner, this was my first time trying this service and due to the lack of follow thru and assistance I will stick to car rental companies that will actually assist paying customers instead of ignoring them after getting their funds.
