Dear Turo users,
As your turo host, community health and safety is our top priority. We’re closely monitoring the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in order to support, inform and protect all parties - Host, consumers, and businesses.
We understand that many of you rely on our service in an effort to avoid crowded spaces, long queues and up-keeping your rental vehicles. We want to assure you that we will continue offering our services directly at our homes or business locations. while you take care of the safety of your loved ones. We are also committed to minimizing the risk of germ exposure during appointments, leaving your vehicles clean, and sanitized.
We have enforced a strict and safe policy for all of the Host. To ensure everyone's safety they have been advised of the following suggestions recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Johns Hopkins Corona Resource Center.
Please expect your Host to follow similar social distancing precautions and personal hygiene.
Here are several procedures you can follow that help prevent the risk of germ spread during your Pickup/drop-off appointment:
- Avoid Handshakes
Instead of a handshake, consider waving when you arrive to pick up your Rental.
- Hand Sanitization
As you’ve likely read from news sources, frequent hand washing for 20 seconds and/or alcohol-based sanitizer is critical to reducing germ spread. It’s also recommended to avoid touching your face, ears or mouth both before and after touching surfaces - including car parts, even after the service is completed.
- Maximize Personal Space
Most sources recommend keeping six feet away from others to minimize the chance of germ spread.
Thank you for being a valued customer and for your ongoing support.
