Such a fun car to drive! Coordinating things with Ray was quick and easy, before and after the rental. Would definitely rent this Y again next time!

Had a terrible first time experience renting on Turo through Raymond. Everything seemed great at first. Picked up the car at 10am (raymond wasn't there for the pick up), packed up the car, had the car for a few hours at that point. (Pick up 10AM, was about to leave around 1/2pm). Right before we were going to take off, my uncle stopped me and pointed out the back left tire and said that tires going to pop. I Turned off the car and got out for a closer look; the tire was bald to the point wires were showing. Upon inspecting all 3 other tires, they were bald to the point where there was barely tread. I had secured the car a full week ahead of my scheduled trip and would have various conversations where I told him how far I would be traveling so I assumed he would make sure the car is in top shape all around. The inside was clean but the tires were clearly neglected. After contacting Raymond about the issue, he blamed me for not checking them beforehand, pretty much seemed like he didn't care of what could've happened to us if the tire had popped while we were on the way. He also offered to "change the tires for me" which was if I went to go get them replaced myself, so basically I'm already paying for time with the car -- then having to go get the tires changed myself because he "didn't notice the issue with the tires and in his opinion, they are good for another 10,000 miles" -- which cuts into my trip by wasting my time to go do something he should have already gotten done himself. It's too bad I can't post pictures here for everyone to see how bad the tires are and the stuff he was saying to me in our conversation. Hopefully, he corrects his actions because someone might get into an accident and hurt due to his negligence where he probably would just say he didn't notice anything wrong. Would recommend looking into other Turo owners or if you do rent from this guy, make sure you triple check everything

It was definitely an unfortunate event that none of us noticed the condition of the tire until your uncle pointed it out to you. Then I offered to pay for the tire replacement at my cost or return the car to me so I could have it fixed. I understand that you wanted to get on the trip and decided to use your uncle’s truck instead. I always keep my car at the best condition possible. Sorry for the unforeseen event that caused you to cut short of the reservation.

Rented the TeslaX from Raymond for a trip to Pasadena. Everything went like clockwork, and Raymond was there during pickup to show me the ropes as I had never driven a Tesla before. Thanks
