Just don’t and save yourself the headache. My experience with the owner was positive until it was an absolute nightmare. At the beginning of the trip he was very responsive and easy to work with. The car was great and he was at the airport on time for pick up and drop off. BUT after we left and got into the airport he txts me if I noticed a ding in the windshield. I say yes it was there when we picked up the car. “ No problem” he says, “I rated you 5 stars”. While I am in the air he texts me photos of damage to the car and an estimate that included the windshield ding. He is pressuring /harassing me to pay out of pocket and telling me that I must have done the damage given that the car was dirty when it was returned. I had payed extra for a cleaning fee... I tell him to call my insurance so the damage can be settled. Currently my insurance needs him to produce time stamped photos of before trip. But he is not cooperating. In fact he hung up on my insurance person after being told that he needed to produce documentation saying “ I will just go after her.” If you rent from this person take very detailed photos of everything, pre and post trip and make sure he walks around the car with you during both so you both can agree on the condition of the car. Don’t rate him tell several days have past so you can give a honest review. Be aware that he doesn’t read your contract with him until after the trip is over. Overall, I think he is very new to Turo, doesn’t know how insurance works, and doesn’t understand his responsibilities as a turo car owner. Based off this experience, I will never rent from him or Turo again. Just go with a commercial car rental. They are far more professional and you get more protection as a driver.

She made this whole thing a headache and nightmare because keep on lying to her insurance company and giving me a different story. This car is a brand new car never got into an accident. She admitted she might have hit something because the car was a total disaster when returning it, both interior and exterior. I was not mad because she pays $25 for post-cleaning. At the postcleaning, I saw damaged all over. Turo told me that if I go through her, the claim will be faster and cheaper for her.
