The car was perfect for my needs

DJ was great, but I was a bit disappointed in the car. It didn’t come with a full tank of gas so guesstimating what to put in to return it right at the same mark was annoying. Another issue with that was the needle sensor in the tank was off so the amount of gas would fluctuate so I’m not sure if it ever actually gave me an accurate gas level to begin with because I did feel like it started and went from half a tank to 1/4 super quick. The traction control needed servicing (a notice showed this on the dash as well as the tire pressure being off) so if you dont remember to turn it off every time you turn on the car, going from stop to accelerating would have it like, spaz out and be unstable for a few seconds. It was bad because it happened to me when I was pulling out into an intersection and it lagged a bit on me that if the intersection wasn’t 100% clear, it could of caused an accident. The a/c on the whole left side was broken too, it wouldn’t turn off at all and it stayed on a high temperature heat. The car isn’t a total loss, but for the price and the condition, it wasn’t a convenience at all. There’s 2018-2019 year cars that rent for cheaper and had it not been a last minute booking I would of easily went with another option. This is an older car and I didn’t expect it to be perfect but at the price I assumed it was an older car that had impeccable upkeep and maybe not too many miles. I assume DJ is trying to be creative in how to get more profit and use out of it while it’s nearing its last leg and I don’t knock that at all, but easily this should be like a $15-20/day price for someone with just a lower standard and basic need of wanting to get from point A to point B. About an hour into my trip, I realized that I needed to end it after a day. What was good was when I went to turn it back, it was a simple drop off and there’s a gas station right next door. I had a car vacuum and was ready to vacuum it out right there in the drop off lot, but they told me not to worry about it so that was nice too.
