As a Turo Allstar and Power host, I must say this was the first time I experienced a guest like this one. I HIGHLY DO NOT🚫 RECOMMEND this guest to rent your car. It was a short notice rental at 2330 on a Friday night. The guest was very persistent about the rental because they said their car was in the shop. No problem I understand. During her rental, She needed to extend the car a couple of times. No problem with that either. The problem started Friday night, the day of return. she asked for another extension until Monday. But this time, she never actually put in for the extension. Mind you she knew the process after doing it a couple of time during the week. That was the last time I heard from her that night. It was getting close to return time (11:30 pm) and I messaged a couple of times asking and if she was going to extend to keep the car past the return time. No response. Her reservation ended and despite numerous messages and phone calls, she never replied or answered her phone. The next day she said she didn't know the extension didn't go through and was having "financial issues" thats the reason for the delay in the extension. She kept saying she would contact Turo for extension. I contacted Turo and they tried to contract her and again. no response. throughout the day she kept saying she would bring the car back. Hours would pass and nothing would happen. I would keep asking for the status. She kept saying she just washed and cleaned it and would bring it back. By 9pm I was wondering if I needed to claim my car stolen, as by this time, she once again had said she was on her way and 2 hours passed and no sign from her again. The Car was not returned until Sunday almost 1am! (25 hours after her reservation ended) She didn't even return the car herself. She had an unauthorized driver return the car and claim she was in the hospital. To make matters WORSE, the car didn't look like it was clean or washed at all, like she had claimed she was doing earlier. Hats were left inside, my car now smells like smoke and tobacco was left on both sides of the front car seats and doors. 4 syringe needles left in the car and crystal like particles where left all over the carpet which makes me believe that it was drugs. Fuel was less than half a tank and when I requested for the gas reimburmtment, she declined to pay. This has to have been the worst experience with a customer ever!! BEAWARE if you let them rent your car. pictures pictures pictures!
