Our booking with Richard was a little difficult in the end. In the beginning there was communication and straightforwardness. On the day of returning the vehicle there were several issues that occurred. His wife took the key fob w/keys & one of the rooftop knobs accidentally. We provided him a code to start the vehicle. We could start the vehicle but were unable to unlock the storage area or the glove box. He first requested to change the time, then requested to have us pickup rather than dropping off. We agreed to the change through Turo to help in the situation, but when we arrived at 4, he had already left. We had to explain our situation to the front desk to let us into the parking tower. When last speaking to Richard he was getting on the plane and said that he had to go. So through messages he told us that we would have to charge him for fob & keys, the knob, fuel, cleaning, and repair to the tire rim. Richard re-assured us he would return our key fob w/keys and knob to us when he got home using FedEx. We asked for the tracking number to track the package, there was no response and no contact after that. The reason behind the 3 stars is we had a hassle with the rental to begin with the multiple changes in the trip times only to show up almost 2 hours late for pickup, not communicating with us at the end of the trip. Leaving the vehicle unattended, no fuel, cleaning cost, causing us additional charges to purchase a key fob, having keys made and purchasing another knob for the rooftop & to repair the tire rim damage.
