I’ve had over 500 trips on Turo and the experience dealing with Jacqueline was one of the more painful trips I’ve had, and this was the theme almost every step of the way. -she demanded a 50% credit because my car was “not as advertised” due to “how dirty is”. In actuality it was just just a crumb in the cup holder and my floor mats not being brand new. -she then held a negative review over my head if I didn’t do something about the credit. -she disputed the gas and miles saying she didn’t drive that far, when actually she did and I had photo evidence, which Turo reimburses. I tried to appease the situation by initially offering to pay for another wash, gave her an extra few hours on the house with the car, and even returned items she left in the car back to her building. She took good care of my car, and I wish that we could have handled this in a slightly better tone, god forbid if something actually went wrong with the car, I could only imagine what would have been asked for.
