I’ll start with Krissie was my returning guest. Before this trip I had no major issues with her besides a slightly late return. I don’t know what happened to Krissie this time but I’m sure it was my worst Turo experience with a guest by far. On November 29th at 9pm (keep the date in mind) I received a text message from Krissie that my car was towed because It was left on the road during the snowstorm and I have to drive 100 miles to release the car from the impound facility. It was not the first time my vehicle was towed during the rental so I already knew Turo can send the guest all the paperwork required to release the car from the towing yard. So I told Krissie to wait for the paperwork and release the car herself. After that Krissie stopped responding any texts and calls. I reached out the towing yard and they confirmed that the car was in their possession. Next day I asked a friend of mine to drive me all the way to Sonora, CA which was again a 100 miles drive. When I arrived to the impound facility I was told that the car was towed on November 27th (it took Krissie 2 days to tell me that the car was towed?). Moreover the car was abandoned on the middle of the road, Krissie didn’t even bother herself to park it on the side of the road so it won’t be blocking the way to other cars. Well, I ended up paying $750 to release the car. Once the vehicle was released I was shocked with the overall condition of my car. The side mirror was broken, there were dents on the trunk and the interior was completely trashed. At least I had the spare key to open the car because apparently Krissie didn’t understand that I need one to start the car and release it from the tow yard. By the time I’m writing this review (December 9th) I was trying to reach her out multiple times with no luck. I am adding the link to the pictures of the car I took when released the car from the tow yard. I hope you will never rent you car to Krissie and never have a similar kind of experience. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1m4w4YtkhVCdrm8kwRdC0Bj7sOGWFqS92
