I've been doing Turo hosting for about 10 months now with over 500 trips and have experienced a range of different renters from very great responsible renters to dishonest, late returns. Nicholas has won the award of my #1 worst experience as a power host. Long story short, stay away, not worth your trouble. Trip started off great, good communication and multiple extensions. Things started turning for the worse when he told me he went over miles and tried to extend with unlimited miles the 4th extension hoping he could roll in the extra overage miles to the last day. In his profile he says he is honest. I had to find the hard way with the multiple lies that I believe he couldn't keep track. I have onstar and gps unit. I know where he has been and how many miles he drives. When Turo called him he couldn't extend and to return the car back by 3pm, he said he would to Turo, but didnt. He went on to continue to drive around another 7 more hours do his work taking photos and videos with the car with his clients. I had to get my local fair Lawn police to file a stolen vehicle report. It was until he spoke to the officer and agreed to return back by 10pm. This is how I know Nicholas doesn't care even if law enforcement was involved. He didn't show up at 10pm. The officer had to call again and threaten to arrest him. He then tells the officer he has more videos to shoot so will arrive at 10:45pm. Very unresponsive and even lies to the officer about his 10pm return time. No care for authority and other peoples cars. Of course he has gone over 700 miles, he didn't reimburse until I had Turo involved to get reimbursed. And even through that process, I didn't get my full reimbursement. My advice? Stay far away. He won't be renting from me again with my 20 vehicles I have on Turo.
