The pick up location was fine however I had to pay the airport parking fee. Borrower’s responsibility for airport was not stated in the listing. After sunrise , a lot of car dents , scratches and bends were exposed on the car. The Bluetooth did not work well . The connection was in and out. When it did connect to a phone call , the person on the receiving end cannot hear you. The key fob was cracked making it extremely difficult to unlock the door. The owner is responsive.

You did not express any of these concerns during your trip. It is disclosed in the listing description that it’s the guest’s responsibility to pay the parking fee upon pickup. That is regular wear and tear for any rental car - you rented the cheapest 10 year old car and expected it to be in the condition of a brand new 2024? No one else has experienced issues with the Bluetooth so it would seem it is an issue with your device. You were not given a cracked key fob, which means you damaged it.

Everything about the pickup and check in process was extremely easy and smooth. So nice to not have to shuttle to the rental car lots at DTW. The car was very basic, but I expected that. Everything was in decent condition for the age of the car, but I struggled to keep the interior cool with the AC running full blast. It wasn't even very hot out, so I suspect it would be even worse in the middle of summer. Otherwise I would recommend this car and this host as they were quite responsive to questions and clearly have an efficient system set up for renting this car.
