Description

Audi's are made for the mountains. *COVID 19 update, I thankfully keep a healthy supply of cleaning and disinfecting supplies on hand and have added a more rigorous wipe down of all frequently touched surfaces. Airport delivery charge does not include the parking charge from $5-28, depending on your requested delivery time and my availability Uber rides to my location are approximately $40 from the airport and $10 from downtown Denver. I live West of Denver a couple of miles South of i70 You will receive the car in a reasonably clean condition (washed and vacuumed recently but not necessarily immediately preceeding ) I request it to be returned the same way Otherwise a cleaning fee will be charged at Turo's discretion (no less than $25) Smoking (of any kind) in the vehicle is prohibited and will incur requisite cleaning fees. The Audi takes require 91 octane (premium) fuel Thank you for considering one of our vehicles, we are happy to answer questions you may have. To address one of the comments, the fuel door works just fine it is a pull, not a button.

David's car completely broke down about an hour into my rental and Turo was absolutely useless and negligent. I was about 45 miles outside of the Denver airport when the power steering went out on the freeway and all these warning signs and beeps came on. I was able to muscle the car over to an exit and on a side street. As soon as i parked a tremendous amount of coolant erupted from underneath the car. It was done. It could have been disastrous on a number of different levels but it was Summer and the weather was moderate. It broke down during daylight. It broke down in a safe area. i got lucky. I also saved the owner a minimum of $4000 because i pulled over immediately when the low coolant light went on. in addition he wanted me to drive it into a parking lot. I know cars and doing this could have destroyed the engine. Luckily he listened to my objections. Turo was absolutely useless. I could only communicate through email and they responded 24 hrs later with concern for the safety of the car. F-U turo. i still haven't been refunded the cost of the trip nor has anyone called me. With regular preventative maintenance this could have been avoided. David didn't do anything to rectify the situation, like pay for a rental or offer to pay for an Uber. For example i have an Airbnb. During one guests' visit the wi-fi went out. Wi-fi was important to this guest so i promptly rented them a hotel at my expense and refunded them the cost of the stay. Mishaps happen it's what you do to correct the issue and make it right for the customer is how you should be judged. Unfortunately both David and Turo get an F.

David's response

I'm sorry the car broke down on you. The serpentine belt shredded and shredded a coolant line when it broke...not routine maintenance...pulling the car out of the road would have worked fine and saved me a $300 emergency tow. You said you where 10 minutes away from your location and your friends where coming to get you. I can't speak for Turo's response, but I did my best and emailed Turo to give you a full refund, the rest is on Turo.
