Handle these components carefully. 3. Exterior Protection Curb Rash on Rims: Avoid damaging the rims with curb rash, as repairs are costly. Exercise caution when parking near curbs. Paint and Body Damage: Any new dents, scratches, or damages to paint and body panels will be documented and assessed for repairs. Door Handles and Mirrors: Please use motorized handles and mirrors carefully to avoid damage. 4. Charging Guidelines Never Open or Close the Charging Port Manually: Opening or closing the charging port by hand can cause serious damage. Always use the touchscreen or Tesla app to open and close the port. Charge to 80% for Daily Use: To protect battery health, keep charging at 80% for shorter trips. Overcharging may cause battery damage, and repair costs could be billed to the renter if necessary. Charging Equipment: Return charging cables and accessories in proper condition. Missing or damaged equipment will incur replacement costs. 5. Documentation and Photo Proof Vehicle Condition Documentation: Photos of the vehicle’s interior, exterior, and any pre-existing damage will be taken before and after each trip. Any new damage will be identified and assessed upon return. Pre and Post-Trip Inspection: Clients are encouraged to take their own pre- and post-trip photos to ensure transparency and avoid disputes.
