Jean was great throughout the entire trip One of the wheel covers came off. I immedietly contact her and she was so pleasant and helpful, we worked it out. I had issues accessing my account to end the trip, she was understanding and helpful. Within 15 min. of ending my trip, I asked to change the drop off location so I would be closer to the bus stop. She immedietly agreed to prevent me from having to walk so far. I highly recommend Jean. Thank you so much Jean!

‼️Where do I start‼️ My trip time was coming to an end (8pm) & the host stopped communication with me via app, and I called /texted his cell # a few times & got no answer.... I then called customer service at 7:52pm & was informed that I had nothing to worry about because I had up to 6 hours after the end trip time to extend the rental without penalty. So 5hrs after the end trip time the host finally responds on the app, saying “ok no problem”. By this time, I’m unsatisfied with the poor communication so I called customer service AGAIN at 1:36AM & was informed that the host notified Turo of a late return. How can be late returning a car I had no intentions on returning?? But I was still within my 6 hours of extension time frame, and the host acknowledged on the app that I wished to extend the vehicle! My concern was that I couldn’t due to the host having the car disabled on his end. The host chose to stop responding to me around my end trip time, and he also DID NOT unfreeze the car in order for me to proceed with requesting an extension, so why he went & told turo that I was late returning his car I’m not sure🤷🏽‍♀️ ‼️Let me not forget to include the other shananigins‼️ First day renting car, I did a pickup/drop off location. I called the host bc I’m at the location & the car was not delivered. So I had to sit outside in the hot heat w| a car seat, waiting on an uber that I had to pay for just to ride an hour and a half to his house to pick up the car in work traffic bc he was out of town. I didn’t start my check-in process until 3hrs after the car was supposed to be delivered. Then a headlight was out so he sent me his mechanic’s cell # and had me reach out to his mechanic to schedule an appt to replace the headlight. I then had to get off work & drive an hour away to the mechanic’s junk yard just for the mechanic to have me leave there and follow him to the auto store to put the headlight in when he knew I was already coming that day and time bc I had to make my own appointment— so he should’ve already had the parts he needed. Another incident while having car in my possession— the host knew his tag expired august 2021 (in the same month I requested to rent it), me being the renter, I shouldn’t had to notice while putting groceries in the car that I would be riding around with an expired tag literally in 6 days. So again, I had to ride to the host’s home since he didn’t have these things done prior to accepting my rental request, just to pick up a sticker from his child. I never complained to the host about these things that I’ve spent my own gas money doing, wasted my personal time getting these things done. It’s not my job as the renter to keep up with any maintenance on his vehicle but I ran around town for him, like it was my personal car. He never thought to even compensate me, I had to ask him for a rental discount which he did agree to, and when it was time to extend he didn’t want to honor the discount. That’s when my rating went from 3 stars to one. I am a 5star renter with great reviews, I’ve never received any problems from any host but this one. I have been in good standing with turo for NINE YEARS!
