Great car and great MPG 26 city/ 35 highway. Vehicle only has 96k miles on it. Recently just put new tires on the Aveo and had major Sevices and is ready for the road!

Unfortunately, although Jeremy tried to fix the problem, the car not only pulled to the right, as he told us, but there was a terrible wobble in the car. He attempted to have this fixed, on the 2nd day of our rental and the pull to the right was corrected but the wobble was still there, and in our opinion, not safe to drive long distances. The car was also saturated with a perfume smell, which Jeremy also tried to clean, but the smell remained. The car also had a broken frame on one of the back door windows, no wheel covers and no cover over the gas cap. The light inside didn’t work when the door was opened. When I messaged Jeremy again about the continued wobble and my safety concerns, he was not prompt in answering my messages, and when he did finally answer, he said it was fixed and he had nothing else to offer. I had to call the Turo customer support to get help, and my 3rd phone call finally yielded a very helpful customer support person who answered my questions thoroughly and assured me that the remainder of the rental would be refunded. I think Jeremy was actually trying to keep his promise of renting us a car and between rentals he didn’t have time to fix these problems. But what should have happened is that this car was not really fit to drive and he should have told us how bad it actually was, and recommended that we uber to our AirBnB and look for a new rental. This Aveo is really not fit for rental, especially at $29/day. We were able to get a local rental for just over $20/day for a beautiful, almost new mid-size vehicle. Jeremy did promise to refund us for the day he took the car to attempt fixing the wobbles and for the $9 for the airport parking, although I haven’t checked to see if this has arrived on my credit card.

I booked my rental 2 months in advance, but did not communicate with Jeremy directly up until the day of rental pick up. Jeremy text me my ticket number and location (not location listed as advertised) but that wasn’t as big as the disappointment I felt when the parking garage attendant pulled up to the curb with the car. It was the car advertised, but it looked and smelled neglected. The paint looked faded, no factory rims or even simple cheap hub caps. Everyone in my family who saw the car asked me, Where did you rent this car from ? The inside appeared clean, but as soon as I sat down the stench of weed, and possibly spilled alcohol slapped me in the face. My daughters kept asking and complaining the smell in the car was making them sick. As soon as I drove out of the parking lot, and hit the highway the car kept pulling to the right. The radio barely worked. I had to pull over to figure it out, and connect my phone to the blue tooth cause it was so confusing. I texted Jeremy about the smells, and his explanation was maybe the previous person who rented the car was responsible. I never mentioned the other issues cause I had already made up my mind I would leave it in my review. Two or three hours after I dropped off the rental, Jeremy sends me a text asking me if I’d hit something cause the car was pulling to the right. I had to inform him that he needed to do a better job at inspecting his vehicles before and after every rental customers to avoid trying to figure out which of his customers caused any damages or issues to his cars. Jeremy’s car didn’t have to be a brand new BMW, but at least a clean well maintained and safe car should be a priority. The pick up/drop of process, and payment was simple and straightforward.
