It is just like you were renting a gas car, when you need to refuel it is on you. The Tesla charging stations will automatically charge the card on file ( mine) so you do not need to insert any payment but that doesn't mean you are not responsible. When you return vehicle the total for the charging used during the rental is expected. Electronic payment ( Venmo cash app Zelle) or cash is expected when dropping off. The app tells you how much charging you did and the total cost you will be required to pay all the charging fees that you did for your rental. Any issues with this please do not reserve the vehicle. Getting people to settle up after they drop it off has been an issue. I should not have to chase people for charging costs. The car will be given at 85%, expect to bring the car back with at least 80%. If you do not have time to recharge at the end of the rental then please add in the charging fee and drop the car off with at least 10% and we will take care of the charging The only cleaning I expect from the renter is to take out any personal garbage. No 🗑️ left behind please. The way I see it if you rented from a company they don’t make you clean the car spotless, it’s unreasonable. When you need to charge, just tell the Tesla you would like to know the nearest super charge location. This will also prepare battery for the super charge you are navigating to. It’s that easy. On the steering wheel there is a button you push and ask the Tesla to do certain things. Whether it’s where is a close charger or tell her you want the car at 68*. There is also camp mode. Are you camping in the vehicle? The car will keep any temp you want for entire night. Then ask car to turn it off it’s that simple. You are responsible for charging the vehicle you will receive and invoice of the charging you did while on your trip! This needs to be pd asap
