Here’s how to manage charging during your journey: 1. Navigation for Superchargers The Model S’s navigation system plans your charging stops. Simply enter your final destination, and it will calculate the necessary Supercharger stations. The system will tell you how many stops to make, where to charge, and how long to charge at each stop. It will guide you from one Supercharger to the next, until you have enough charge to reach your destination. 2. Charging Stops At each Supercharger, there is no need to charge the car to 100%. The navigation will tell you how long to charge (e.g., 20-40 minutes) to reach the next station. Follow the same process at the next station, repeating until the car has enough charge to complete the trip. 3. Final Supercharge Before you reach your final destination, it’s wise to charge a bit extra at the last Supercharger stop (about 10-15 minutes longer). This ensures that you have enough battery remaining after reaching your destination. 4. Frequent Stops on Longer Trips For longer trips, expect to make frequent Supercharger stops. This Model S typically provides 350-400 miles per full charge. The navigation system will guide you through each stop, making sure your car has sufficient charge throughout the journey. No Pets Allowed: For the comfort and cleanliness of all guests, pets are not permitted in the vehicle. Return Clean: Please return the car in the same condition it was provided. Excessive dirt or debris may incur a cleaning fee. Fuel and Charging: Ensure the vehicle is returned with the same charge level as at pick-up. For electric vehicles, please use a Tesla Supercharger or home charger to maintain the charge. Car Seats/Boosters: If you require car seats or boosters, please request them in advance. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. No Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in the vehicle. A cleaning fee will apply if this guideline is violated. Damage and Maintenance: Report any damage or issues with the vehicle immediately. You will be responsible for any damage incurred during your rental period. Return on Time: Please return the vehicle on time to avoid additional charges. If you anticipate being late, contact us as soon as possible. Authorized Drivers: Only drivers listed in the rental agreement are permitted to operate the vehicle. Ensure all drivers are authorized and hold a valid driver’s license.
