I am the first owner of this vehicle with zero accidents and low mileage. I have loved this vehicle since day one by performing regular maintenance at Toyota dealerships.   • How much should I fill the gas tank when I want to return the car?

    You are responsible for replacing the gas used during the rental with the appropriate fuel (i.e., regular, premium, or diesel). For the cars which premium gas needed, please have your receipts till the end of your trip showing that you have used appropriate fuel. Using inappropriate type of gas can harm the engine or turn the engine light on.

  • Can I Smoke inside the car?

    Guests and their passengers are not permitted to smoke in any vehicle in the Turo marketplace. This smoking policy covers the use of, but is not limited to, any tobacco or tobacco-related products, marijuana or marijuana substitutes, e-cigarettes, or personal vaporizers. We take reporting of smoking very seriously. In case of smell of smoke, vaporized substances, or aerosol fumes the guest is subject to a $250 Fine.🚭🚭🚭

  • What should I do if I used the Toll roads?

    You are responsible to pay the tolls at your own expenses. Please have a picture of license plate in case you want to pay it later. If we receive a toll letter later, you will be responsible for the Toll amount and any other penalties, late fees or charges. Also Turo may charges you some admin fee too.   • Should I clean the car before I return it?

    Please bring the car back with similar condition, Specially make sure to clean the car with below conditions: 1- There is mod or dust on the body or anything which covers some parts of the body. Also any kind of oil or spoiled sticky liquids on the body. 2- Please avoid parking the car under the trees which produce sap. If this happen, wash the car immediately. Tree saps become solid over the time and sticks to the body like dried glue. If you return the car with tree saps, there would be a damage charge based on the damage extent. You need to bring back the cars' interior similar to the pickup condition, Specially make sure to clean the car with below conditions: 1- Beach sands 2- Dust, mud or dried soil covering the mats. (If we need to shampoo the mats there is an extra charge) 3- Any kind of spoiled liquid like soda, coffee, milk and Unusual dirt, oil, sticky liquids and heavy dust over the interior parts. 4- Bottles, cans, tissues, cups, food boxes and similar items or anything left behind. 5- And kind of food, snack, chips and etcetera 6- Any kind of animal hairs should be removed completely. Please note that the above mentioned is only related to cleanliness.(so for example if the spoiled liquid causes any damages to the Audio system, it considered damage and will be reported/charged separately)

  • What should I do in case of a car issue?

    Please keep in mind that problems can happen even with the strict maintenance of the cars and its part of this industry. Please attention that doing the following can drain the battery even when you are still inside the car and the engine is off: 1- Forgetting to to turn off an interior or exterior light, 2- Unlocked doors, improperly closed door(s)/trunk/Glove box 3- A charger or device inside the cigarette lighter 4- Radio or any electrical device is on when the engine is off. In case of the battery drainage, you need to get a jump start from a CHP, AAA, other vehicles, Turo Roadside Assistant, hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, auto shops and etc. Also in case that a tire needs more pressure due to a new nail or puncture, fix the problem as soon as you can. Continuing the driving can harm the tire or rings. In case of mechanical issues: please calm down and first text us a picture of any alerts showing on the dash or any other visible changes or problems and explain the problem.

  • What should I do if I get a ticket?

    You are responsible to pay the tickets at your own expenses. If we receive a ticket later, you will be responsible for the ticket amount and any other penalties, late fees or charges. Also Turo may charges you some admin fee too.

  • What happens I want to return the car earlier? Do I get any refund?

    Please change your reservation if you want to return the car early. Please consider that we may have other cars to return or deliver during your new return time, so even if we approve that, it may cause some difficulties or delay.

  • Can I change, modify, alter or fix a part of the car?

    Changing, modifying, altering or even fixing an issue needs permission from the owner. We have the right to terminate your rental period and requesting the car returned back to our possession and you will be responsible for any damages or costs.

  • What should I do during the checking?

    Upon picking up the car, we insist that you take the car pictures requested by Turo and upload them to Turo application. Make sure to take as many pictures as you like with different angles. For example, if you like to take a picture from bumper corner, take one from top, middle and below bumper. We take our own pictures too. We let Turo compare the post-trip photos with pre-trip photos in case of an incident.
