This address is the exit 42 Park and Ride located next to the Cabela parking lot. This state maintain Park and ride just about 4 miles from the airport making it a central location for the greater Portland area and close to PWM This location is easy to find. You turn onto Expedition Drive as if you were headed to the main Cabelas store. you Immediately take your first right and head to the park-and-ride just 100 yards away. This well lit parking lot safe secure and next to the interstate exit 42 tollbooth. One option that we have been using a lot this year is the contactless remote key option. Basically this allows you to pick up the car at your convenience without the car owner being present. For this to happen Turo requires that you go to the trip photo section of the app and you will have an opportunity to add a photo. The photo needs to be your face and your drivers license in the same picture. Once Turo has confirmed your identity you will text me and I will give you information on how to access the keys. Turo also wants you not to upload the photo any more than 24 hours before the start of your trip. Expectations: Most importantly we have a zero tolerance policy for smoking in or near the vehicle this is for obvious reasons as many folks may have allergies and health issues that only get exacerbated by the smell of smoke. Generally we never have few problems with this issue But by being upfront with this policy will set an expectation that reinforces a pleasant experience for you and future renters We recommend you carry in a little bit of cash and pay as you go on the toll highways this is worked out beautifully over the last few years. Please bring the tank back to full and if you feel like the car needs to have a quick cleaning you can visit ScrubaDub car wash or Golden nozzle car wash both have free vacuums and are close by to your pick up and drop off location. As a little bit of encouragement think about the fact that you are sharing the car with others so good stewardship is key. Do I have to pay for tolls during my trip?
Yes An EZ pass transponder has been included with your car. This allows for a 50% discount on most tolls while in the state. A request for reimbursement will be submitted shortly after your trip
Do I have to wash and wax The car during the trip question
For your convenience a unlimited car wash badge has been installed on the windshield in the lower left corner. This allows for unlimited car washes at any golden nozzle car wash location. A brochure will be included inside the car And will list the relevant locations of the carwash.
What happens if I go over the miles that are included?
If you are only a few miles over then no worries! Significant miles over the included miles will be charged after the trip when I submit a reimbursement for the miles over The included miles that come with your reservation.

We booked the Ford Focus about a week in advance due to Turo canceling a previous rental we had booked over 7 months in advance only one week before our trip. Jeff was very responsive, but there was confusion in communication several times. A few times, I was referred to by the wrong name, receiving messages for other customers with incorrect instructions for our pick-up. Eventually, we got it worked out and the pick-up and drop-off were smooth.
However, in the airport waiting for our flight to Portland, I received a text from Jeff that the previous owner left a dent in the driver side door. The dent was massive, but he said it did not affect opening and closing the door, so we agreed to keep the reservation and in exchange, we were able to return the car at any level of gas and he would cover the rest. The door did not shut all the way and you could hear road noise/feel air coming in when driving. The dent should be fixed before anyone else rents this car.
The car was not up to our cleanliness standards. It smelled as if someone used to smoke heavily in it and the interior looked as if it could use a good detailed cleaning. There was dirt/grime buildup on steering wheel, dash, door handles, buttons, etc. The back glass had large smudges on the interior, making it difficult to see out the window at times.
In addition, the windshield wipers need to be replaced. They just smudged/smeared water around, and it was difficult to see as we were visiting during a rainy and foggy weekend. The drivers side low beam headlight was also out.
Overall, Jeff was friendly and responsive, but there were issues with the car if fixed, would have made for a much better experience.

Pretty disappointing when you’re trying to rescue someone who had a reservation canceled and you do your best and they criticize you. In any case, I think several pictures of the slight depression that had occurred on a previous rental so you should not be any surprises. there as far as communication It happens from time to time especially when you have renters with similar names.
At the end of the day, the car was clean plus a a free tank of gas. For any inconvenience that deserves 5 stars
