Description

The brand new 2018 Nissan Leaf is an electric car with s range of 155 miles and fuel mileage of 100-130 mpge. Lower pricing for 7 day rental and low miles usage. One pedal breaking system with recharging feature. Optional EV card for fast (30 min to 1 hour) charging. IMPORTANT DETAILS BELOW: Renters are required to show proof of insurance from Turo or other policies. Basic Turo insurance: $2,500 deductible on coverage for other cars, $3,000 deductible on car rented. Premium Turo insurance: $250 deductible on other cars, still $3,000 deductible on rented car. If covered by other policies, Proof of insurance on a Turo rented car must be provided. Security required. Additional charges if covered by our policy. All of our vehicles do NOT have a FasTrak toll tag. Do not drive in the FasTrak lane. Customers are responsible for paying tolls and tickets costs when you receive an invoice from Turo. Use of our cars for Uber, Lyft, DoorDash type business is NOT allowed. Inform us if you are traveling out of the Bay Area. Call 408.348 3635 if you have any question.

The car itself works great, clean and well maintained, no issues there. unfortunately, customer service is low. I set the pick up place in Palo Alto, showed up 10 minutes before and waited another 30 minutes for someone to show up. No call or text message from Jimmy or his crew. Had to call Turo’s customer service only to find out that there was an issue with the initial vehicle. I was asked to drive up to Cupertino (about 20min away) to pick up the car a new vehicle. The car also did not have a charging cable to use, I come to find that Jimmy previous renters had not returned the cable with the car. It is a shame but it was a disappointing experience as a first time user and doubt I will be returning to using Jimmy’s services.
