Tracie was amazing. She is super helpful, communicative and available when you need her. I had a super late pickup (past midnight) but that was a non issue for Tracie. I honestly can say that she maybe one of the best hosts on Turo.
The car
Overall the car is great to drive. It was my first time driving a hydrogen car, took a little getting used to the silence of the car. It’s peppy, smooth, super super comfortable and fun to drive.
Things I wish were better
The network of hydrogen gas stations is a little sparse. This means that once can’t take a spontaneous scenic road way due to potential range issues.
Conclusion
If you are driving within the city or within the network of the hydrogen stations, this car is a non brainer, especially because it is Tracie’s car (as mentioned above). The car has great range 70mph. and under. Highway speeds, one has to be a bit delicate with the throttle to maximize the range.
I do recommend to rent the car without 2nd thought, just plan your stops and go enjoy the open road.
