Car will be delivered clean inside and outside with full tank of gas. So please return it the way it was given to you. Tolls - Does the car have FasTrak?
Yes, the car is connected to a FasTrak account. Any toll / express lane charges incurred will be billed separately at the end of the rental.
SJC Airport pickup / drop-off
Car is located about a mile outside SJC airport. You can either take Uber/Lyft (around $10-14) to my location from the airport or Take the free VTA airport flyer bus to Coleman & Brokow
What if emergency happened?
Please call 911 if case of emergency. For non-emergency or semi-emergency, please contact Turo support @support.turo.com or message me via Turo message. Please allow 1-2 hours response time.
Is smoking permitted in the car?
NO SMOKING! If there is any lingering smell cigarette, marijuana, vaping smell we will report to Turo. Turo can charge in excess $250 for detail and cleaning services.
Does gas need to be filled?
Car will usually come with a full tank of gas. Please return it at same fuel level fuel. Please note travelers are responsible for bringing back the vehicle with the same gas level as when it is picked up, as per Turo policy. If not filled, it would be actual cost of gas + $10 inconvenience fee. There is a Chevron/Costco 1-2 minutes away from our pick up and drop off location.
Can I return the car after hours?
Yes. Car can be returned at any hour. Park the car in the designated parking spot at our primary location right outside SJC airport and put the keys in the office mail slot.
Do we have to clean the car when returning?
Car will be given clean, please make sure to return the car in same condition. Anything that requires more than a waterless wash and shakeout of car mats will be charged an appropriate cleaning fee. If car cannot be returned clean, we highly suggest to purchase the post-trip cleaning option. Airport Delivery
There are a few things to keep in mind if you decide to add-on an airport pick-up/drop-off. It's possible that we won't be able to deliver the car at or around the time of your arrival. Therefore, we must leave the car at the hourly/short-term/long-term parking lot. The prices range from $2 per 15 minutes to a daily cap of $36. Please be aware that before picking up, you must be prepared to pay a maximum of $36. (We'll make every effort to deliver it as soon as you're scheduled to arrive.) When you return the car, we will cover the parking fee.

The pickup was excellent but everything else not so much, as soon as we picked up the car it had many, many ants, I have many videos where you can see them walking all over the car, I contacted the host and he gave me 3 solutions, either cancel the trip and give me my money back, which was no use because I had to drive 2 hours that same day to an appointment and I couldn't find another available car, or change this car for another one that the host had but that consumed a lot of gasoline and it wasn't convenient for me or stay like that, we decided to buy an ant repellent and keep the car, the repellent worked for a while and they came back but we tried to continue the trip like that, then on the second or third day of the trip we were on the freeway and a light came on and it wouldn't let us accelerate, we had to stop several times to restart it and the host said that maybe it was because of the heat but then I saw another review that the same thing happened to them so now the host knows that the car has that fault and decides to rent it like that, I would not recommend this car because although nothing was very serious made us have a bad time on our vacation

The car started having issues halfway through my trip. I had to turn off the car and turn it back on for it to accelerate again.

False alarm. This is a Hybrid Electric car. The motor/engine will turn on/off as needed. At slow speeds it runs in EV mode giving an impression that car turned off or is having issues.
