Guidelines

ALL OF OUR CARS ARE NON-SMOKING AND NO PET ODOR. IF ANY OF OUR CARS ARE RETURNED WITH SMOKE OR PET ODOR YOU WILL GET BILLED FOR A $50 CLEANING FEE (TO WIPE DOWN THE ENTIRE CAR), AND A $50 SMOKE FEE (TO OZONE THE SMELL OUT). IF THE CAR IS RETURNED WITH AN AIR FRESHENER YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE $50 CLEANING AND $50 SMOKE FEES AUTOMATICALLY. We would not want to have to charge the $100 or more, and we are absolutely sure you would not want to pay it either. So please please please don’t smoke or bring pets into our cars for the sake of guests who are allergic to either one. Sand is very difficult to remove from our cars and requires additional time to vacuum and wipe down. Therefore, if the car is returned with sand there will be an additional cleaning fee of $25-$100 depending on he time we spend cleaning it. Also, during love bug season in Florida any cars returned without cleaning them off will result in a $50 cleaning reimbursement fee. FOR OUR EV: You must not let the battery go down below 25 miles before recharging. This is very unhealthy for the battery and reduce es the life of the battery. Therefore we charge a $50 fee per occurrence. Please be mindful of this. Lastly, if you do not have internet connectivity on your phone, you will be given the password to the onboard wifi and pay $5 for wifi for car rental return communication purposes. We would recommend the portable wifi instead, its just safer this way for everyone. We thank you in advance for taking good care of our vehicle as it is an investment that we want to provide a great level of service with. REMEMBER: We do not profit off of these additional fees.   • How do the tolls work?

    Avoiding a toll road while in Orlando is impossible. For your convenience, all of our vehicles are equipped with a SunPass so that you don't have to stop and pay!   • Can I smoke in your car?

    🚭 NO. Please be advised that we promote and provide non-smoking vehicles, therefore, 𝘀𝗺𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 in any of our vehicles at any time. This is a firm restriction and you will incur a hefty fine if we discover any evidence of smoke. We have zero judgment if you smoke, but we also have zero tolerance if you do so in our car. Please respect that these are our personal vehicles and also our livelihood. We simply cannot rent out a vehicle that smells of smoke, and must take it offline for cleaning and ozone treatment. If you choose to ignore this, we will seek $𝟭𝟱𝟬 𝘁𝗼 $𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, depending on severity. We thank you for not smoking in our cars!

  • Do I have to return the car as clean as I received it?

    Everyone saves money and time using Turo and this is one of the reasons. The car has to be returned as clean as it was delivered. We are not too picky at all, but if the car is smoked in, or is returned with pet smell, or vomit smell we will have to charge you for an Ozone Cleaning ($50) in addition to the cleaning fee of $50. Of course we allow babies, and even have baby seats, but if there are spills and such, there will be an additional cleaning fee. If there is sand in the car upon return...you guessed it, there will be an additional cleaning fee. Regular Post Cleaning Fees will range from $25-$50. Stained seats will result in extra cleaning fees above the $50 fee.

  • Can I use any of the Tesla Superchargers?

    Yes you can use any Tesla Supercharger because our car is directly backed by our credit card on file. We will seek a $18.95 reimbursement for every Supercharge, so please fill it to the full 80% on every visit. Be aware that the Tesla Superchargers also charge idle fees which are $1 per minute. We monitor how often you charge up to 100%. There is a $100 surcharge if you charge the battery to 100% more than 20% of your rental. We also charge a $50 fee for every time we are alerted that the charge fell below 10 miles. We also offer prepaid EV charging that includes unlimited use of the Superchargers - you can add this to your rental as an Extra!

  • How do camera generated tickets and citations work?

    Normally these kind of citations take 2 to 4 weeks to be received by us. Guests who generate these kinds of citations will get billed for the full amount, plus a $39 administration fee.

  • Can I take your car out of State?

    You may, but it will cost an additional $75 per day, and you must also opt for the Unlimited Mileage. This $75 per day will be assessed at the end of the rental in the form of reimbursement. You must have previous consent from the Host. Southeast USA ok...but not further than that unless fully approved by host. All our cars have GPS location services on them. If a car travels outside the state without prior approval, we will charge an additional $125 per day, per state upon return.

  • Are there any charges for late deliveries or early returns?

    Firstly any bookings made for pick up and / or delivery times before 9am or after 9pm will be a convenience fee of $25 per delivery or pick up. This would be in addition to the delivery fee. We are flexible however we will charge $50 for any no-call and no-show, or non-communicated late or early returns. Any last minute changes from the actual deliveries or returns times will result in a $50 change/convenience fee IF the changes land outside of our normal working hours (9am - 9pm), and it will be billed at the end of the rental plus any parking garage fees as well.

  • Are there specific battery care / charging policies that I should be aware of?

    Negligible battery charging and care leads to premature battery degradation, which means that the life of the battery degrades which will require a full replacement of the battery before the car reaches 150,000 miles. What does negligible mean? It means to constantly charge the battery to 100% instead of the recommended 90%. It also means to charge it to 100% and let it sit overnight. It means to run the battery charge to below 10 miles or less. It means running to battery to 0. If guest is negligible in any of the above ways, we will charge the guest $25 for each case. We also impose a $150 fine if the battery reaches 0% or 0 mile range. We closely monitor our fleet because Teslas, nor their batteries are cheap. It is an investment and we have to protect our investment. We thank you in advance for taking good care of our batteries and Teslas.

R2 is a much more reliable car than its cranky namesake. This was my introduction to Tesla and it couldn't have gone better. The pick up and drop off processes were seamless on top of that. All in all a great experience.
