Description
The Generalist! This car is for people who want a sporty enthusiast’s car while not making the practicality trade off that 2 door coupes demand. This is a Brand New VW Golf GTI 380S with only 600 miles (at the time of writing in Feb 2025). The Moonstone Gray is beautiful in any light, and the black wheels and red brake calipers are a nice touch. Has the classic plaid interiors, along with the super desirable adaptive dampers which allow you to customize how sporty or comfortable you want the ride to be. This hot hatch is as sporty as they come, but it is also excellent on gas. Gives 30+ mpg when driven properly. Extremely easy to drive and the perfect car for someone looking to learn/relearn how to drive a stick shift. This is also the last of the manual GTIs! VW isn’t making these anymore. This thing really does drive like a mini Porsche and many of the options are shared in the Volkswagen Audi Group (parent company of Porsche). Please reach out if you have any questions. Cheers!

This car is located in the Marea Alta underground parking garage, which is a secured facility right across from the San Leandro BART station. You will receive a link to gain access to the garage and the vehicle 30 minutes prior to your reservation. Overnight parking is available for your vehicle at the garage for $35 a day paid directly to the garage. Or you can find street parking.

Would highly recommend renting from the Golf GTI Kalyan. The car war well kept, on time and accommodations were made for car seat! Host was informative and responsive through the whole experience and plan to rent again for future NorCal trips!

What a fun car to drive! Car was as described and was clean inside and out. Host was very responsive and provided clear pick up/drop off instructions. Very few manual selections on Turo so we are very happy to have booked with Kalyan. Will book again!
