On Coakley Dr and the surrounding streets, we have plenty of street parking in a safe neighborhood. As a reminder, please remove valuables! We are not liable for theft or damaged vehicles parked on the street.

Please bring the car back to the original pickup location with a full tank of gas. I will always ensure that upon pickup, the car is filled and ready for your trip. No Smoking or any type of marijuana smell is allowed in the car. If there is any lingering smell, we will report to Turo and charge in excess of up to $500 for detail and cleaning services. The car is not Pet Friendly.

• Will the car come activated with toll pass?

  The car will have a license plate that is registered with the toll roads that are accessible at all California toll roads and bridges. We will ask for reimbursement at end of the trip and payable via the Turo app.

• Do we have to clean the car when returning?

  We expect the car to come back fairly clean. If excessively dirty (either exterior and interior) a cleaning fee will be applied (up to $500)

• Can I smoke in the car?

  Absolutely NO SMOKING in the car. If car is found smoked in, a $500 charge will incur to remove smoke odor.

• Do I need to fill up gas?

  Car will come with a full tank of Premium 91 gas. Please return it at same fuel level fuel. Please note travelers are responsible for bringing back the vehicle with the same gas level as when it is picked up, as per Turo policy. If not filled, it would be actual cost of gas + $10 inconvenience fee.

• If I pick up the car late, can I return the car later?

  Late returns are absolutely not accepted, If you pick up the vehicle late that's usually not a problem for me as long as you let me know you're running behind, however picking up late DOES NOT mean you can return the car late. The car is due back no later than the listed Turo time (This is to protect you as insurance is covered during the rental periods only) If you're running behind, please modify the trip through Turo to avoid late fees.

• How to use the MINI Cooper Convertible Function

  The convertible operation buttons are located on on the dome light above the media screen (MINI calls it their openometer). Simply hold the silver switch backwards. The first operation will be the sunroof operation, when that is completed, let go, and hold the silver switch backwards again and the convertible operation will continue. To close, simply hold the silver switch forward and the convertible operation will start to close. Please be mindful of your hands and surrounding areas. -- to know when the operation is complete, the dash will advise "Roof Operation Complete" when complete. If the convertible operation appears to not work, there will usually be a message on the dash advising why. Such as if the trunk cover is in its correct placement, or if there are too many things inside of the trunk pushing the trunk cover up.
