Had a slight issue with the maintenance (oil light on, brakes needed attention) and a headlight was out, but B dealt with the latter quickly, offering to come fix it where I was (far from him). Great, friendly host.

Brakes were inspected and everything checked out well. Maybe noise was from rainwater?
There is no oil light on, check engine light and no fault codes stored. I'm not sure what light came on.
