The perfect summer car: The A/C in electric vehicles blows cool instantly vs. the wait time with gas cars. It also comes with $1000 ceramic tints (to protect you from the California heat.) NOT ALL TURO CARS ARE THE SAME. My cars are all less than a year old and have low miles (unlike most of the cars on Turo.) I rent other host's high-end cars on here and they are filthy catfishes. Read my reviews and you'll see that my cars are super clean. When booking this, also take into account the gas savings that you get with electric. It takes only $10 to charge this car (or even free at EvGo with the included card) vs. a full tank of gas. You can then put the extra money into a luxury car with great service!

Amazing! The car is clean - although this always depends on the person who had it before you. The one before me had neglected to vacuum and had left some crumbs and dirt on the floor mats. Other that those mats, the car was very clean, the only thing you can notice is a minor stain on the driver’s seat. Jules was out of country at the time, so not his fault (and some crumbs are not an issue at all - I’m really nitpicking here). I can totally see why he puts cleanliness as a top priority and would absolutely recommend his car for this factor alone. Wireless CarPlay is indispensable for navigation. My iPhone had some weird hiccup pairing issue with the car at first. Resolved by pairing phone as Bluetooth accessory (like one would do with a dumber phone), then I’ve got a prompt on the phone that I can use CarPlay. Car is quite compact, which is great for shorter parking spots. The backup camera and proximity sensors (they provide both display and spatial audio, so you can properly turn around to see behind you) make things easy. Battery is great for shorter-distance commutes. I never had to use gas backup, but was glad to know it’s there. However - I guess this is the case with any EV, possibly except for top-tier Teslas - with longer trips (I’d say 75+ miles) one has to be reasonably wary about the distance and charging time, and plan ahead. Jules has recommendations for this (ampUp app), but I found that Google Maps for general area search + vendor-specific app (e.g. EvGo app) for checking the charger status worked best for me. YMMV. Jules was always in touch here on Turo, excellent communications. I’ve asked him for recommendations where to recharge and wash and his advice was solid. Pick-up and return is a few miles away from the airport. I’ve read the reviews and it was not a surprise, communicated upfront. I’d say, a good and clean car was worth it. Overall, great experience. Thanks again. Clean cars are super important so glad that you noticed. That stain has since been removed! I was out of the country for 20 days so didn’t see it in between rentals. Range can be an issue for EVs but the gas range on this guy makes it so that you pay almost $0 for gas and you can keep refilling it! Thanks again :)

I have used Turo a number of times in the past, mostly for high end rentals, and Jules has been by far the best host I’ve encountered. Extremely communicative and friendly. The car was in brand new condition and a lot of fun to drive. Highly recommend!
