** COVID SAFE: Touchless pickup and drop-off included. Vehicle is deep cleaned and remains untouched for 48 hrs between bookings to prevent contaminated surfaces ** Take advantage of the current situation — no traffic, smooth sailing, top down with fresh clean air on the freeway. Let your hair down; you deserve it. For the ones who love performance cars, this BMW M3 packaged 335IS is a rare treat. 0-60mph in 4.3s with the top down will have your heart racing and bring the thrill back to driving in this ultimate driving machine. Make your California convertible dreams come to true and experience your world in 360 degree freedom; from the blue skies and the palm trees to driving next to the Pacific Ocean while listening to the Logic EQ Harman Kardon premium sound. This is a treat for all your senses ☀️🌊 Inside are leather sport seats, steel pedals, an M Sport steering wheel, and textured aluminum trim. Between the seats sits the incredible seven-speed dual-clutch shifter. The DCT system is identical to the one in the M3 and comes with steering-wheel-mounted paddle-type shifters. Exterior styling has an aggressive M Sport body kit giving the car that menacing look it deserves with all that power waiting to be unleashed. Immediately on starting the engine, you’ll detect a more noticeable hum from the exhaust system. Less-restrictive mufflers snarl menacingly and only get angrier once the throttle is matted and the revs rise. Power is delivered with the immediacy of a large-displacement, naturally aspirated engine. The car will still quickly shrink a straightaway, and it rockets into triple-digit speeds as if towed by a Boeing 747. Rent this BMW today to feel what it’s like living the Californian dream... ☀️🌊🏖

I rented this car for a day trip up and down the coast and... OH 😮 MY 😲 GOD 🤯 This has had to be the finest V6 aspirated engine with a 7 speed dual clutch I have EVER driven. The brand new turbo has rejuvenated this limited edition M3 sports package BMW and I am pretty sure I screamed from joy as I was driving down Hwy 1. This isn’t just a car that looks beastly, it growls and drives like one too. The acceleration, the torque, the natural burble sounds of the car are something I won’t be able to capture into words. The hardtop convertible is far better than the soft tops I’ve driven and you just have to watch the beauty of this mechanic ballet. The bushfire smoke wasn’t too bad for the areas I was in but I was able to put the hardtop of the convertible up and enjoy the air conditioning instead. I went south to Monterey to the aquarium and then further down to Big Sur. The weather and the scenic beauty around me was just a joy to my quarantined eyes used to far more drab home interior. I’m pretty sure this trip cured my quarantine depression and things have actually started looking up for me after my trip to the Bay Area! I hope this car brings just as much joy and good luck to you as it did to me. My girlfriend and I are pining to feel the ocean breeze in our hair going through curvy mountainous roads again. Until next time!

Another road trip down the coast, and another time with this beautiful car. However, this time was certainly more magical than the last times I rented this. The host told me he had put in a brand new turbo and exhaust lines which gave this already powerful car some supercar power that you can only feel for yourself. Anything I say to describe the thrill of the instant torque won’t accurately capture the adrenaline rush I experienced every time I put my foot on the accelerator. It’s like the car got a heart transplant from a Ferrari. It just goes! I timed the 0-60 at just under 4 seconds with my iPhone VBOX Sport performance app. That’s faster than the advertised time! Apparently that’s because the car has all new Pirelli tires and a brand new wheel on the right rear side. Whenever the smoke from wildfires got too much to bear, I was able to put the hardtop of the convertible back up and voila, I was sealed off from all wildfire smoke and could breathe easy in the recirculated air conditioned cabin. I took the car down to pebble beach for a golf game and I had a beautiful time down there. The 17 mile drive along the coast is best experienced with the top down and all your senses being treated to the panoramic ocean views. When coming back up north, I stopped by for a drive-in movie and watched Tenet, and WOW the car’s surround sound speakers made me feel like I was in a Dolby Atmos theatre. I was mindblown! The punch of the bass during the action scenes reminded me of why I liked going to the theatres, it’s just an experience one can’t replicate at home. Next time I’m taking this car for much longer and going to go surf in Santa Cruz since it’d easily accommodate my board with the top down. The host was very responsive whenever I had any questions. I would definitely recommend this as your next coastal trip or anywhere trip convertible.

Absolute worst experience using this app. Used it once & it went well, the second time was a complete nightmare that makes me hesitant to use again. Picked up this car, owner immediately says the tire has a slow leak & will need air every other day. Not want I want to deal with when girlfriend & I have a 6 day long vacation planned up & down the coast of California. I take the car because I have no other choice. Leave the airport & the tire pressure sensor on the car comes on immediately. A few more miles down the road & the low oil error light comes over the dash & says put oil in the car immediately. Stop at a gas station, fill up the tire with air. I also personally bought a quart of oil & filled it up myself. Keep in mind, I’m one hour into a 6 day trip with this car. Not thrilled. We get about two hours down the road & the tire pressure sensor comes on again. Stop at a gas station, fill it up again. Next stop was San Francisco, tire sensor comes on again, now putting air in it for the 3rd time on the first half day having the car. The next day we don’t drive anywhere as we could walk to our destination from the hotel, but that night I reach out to Turo to see what can be done. It takes forever to get anywhere with their customer service because it’s all done via chat, completely ridiculous. It’s now 7pm at night, we had dinner reservations in SF that I had to cancel because we can’t drive the car, girlfriend is pissed. Turo offers to send a tow truck to pick up the car, but that leaves me without a car, at 10pm, when I have to be on the road at 7am the next morning to Napa Valley for winery tour reservations. I don’t have a choice, tow truck comes & gets the car. After pickup is confirmed, I now spend 45 minutes on the phone (actually got them on the phone somehow) with Turo trying to find a car, it’s now 11pm. Finally found a car, I had to spend $14 to Uber over to the new car. This car gets us through the rest of the traveling. Now comes time to drop the new car back off. Well, original car was picked up in San Jose where we were also flying out of, new car drop off is in San Francisco. So, dropped off new car first thing Monday morning, but now I’m stuck in San Francisco an hour away from where we are flying out of. I had no choice but to Uber from the new car drop off to San Jose, this was $83. So, now I’m out an extra $115 on top of the rental just so I could get through my vacation. It was extremely stressful to deal with & really put a damper on the entire vacation. I would not rent this car again, & be caution if you decide to.

Daman's response

Hi Chase, While I apologize profusely for your experience, it’s definitely an anomaly as one can gather from the sea of 5 star reviews. Nowhere in your review was my hospitality or hours spent getting you into a new rental mentioned, but that’s quite alright. I understand what you went through, and as I’d mentioned my car was in the BMW shop for a month until an hour before your trip which is why I had no idea of the severity of the leak. Hope you have better luck with future rentals!
