Description

Enjoy a fast and silent driving experience with my 2019 Tesla Model 3 with Autopilot. If you have never driven a Tesla before, please watch a video tutorial to speed up your pick up process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GXmqMdY1Ts Safely experience a 0-60 in 3.2 - 5.6 seconds. If you want to relax, initiate autopilot only on highways and freeways and let the car stay inside the lanes for you as you still pay attention, ready to take over at any time. Use Bluetooth to play your favorite tunes and answer calls safely. If you have never driven an electric vehicle, charging can seem challenging. Yet no need to worry due to the extensive supercharging network across the Bay Area. Get a full charge (220 miles) in 30 minutes to an hour for no more than $20 per full charge. Simply press on the lightning bolt with a circle around it in the right hand corner on the screen and click on the nearest red pin (superchargers.) Once you arrive, reverse into an available charging station, open the charge port from the left side of the screen (lightning bolt next to the car animation) and plug in the cable on the driver side rear of the car. Unplug the charging cable once your charge is complete to avoid hefty idle fees and you're all set to cruise along the beach or drive around the city. !!!!!at the end of your trip, you will receive an invoice from Turo for the supercharging, tolls, tickets, etc. you've used.

Guidelines

Strictly no smoking! You will be charged an incidental smoking fee through Turo if you do not abide by this guideline. If you bring an animal inside of the car, you must return the car clean in its original condition. (remove all pet smell and hair) You will be charged an incidental cleaning fee through Turo if you do not abide by this guideline. Let me know if you will be driving outside the Bay Area so I can help you plan your supercharging. No off road driving, the Tesla Model 3 is not equipped for rough terrain.

Faqs

  • Are you flexible with extra mileage?

Message me in Turo for your desired extra mileage. You are allowed 200 miles per day, anything over that is an additional charge per mile.

  • Can I take your Tesla outside of the Bay Area?

Right after reserving, you must let me know if you plan to drive outside the area since finding chargers can be difficult and running out of battery can ruin your trip. You are allowed 200 miles per day, anything over that is an additional charge per mile.

  • How do I charge the tesla?

First, tap on the map and look for a lightning bolt symbol with a circle around it at the bottom right corner of the map above the volume control. Click on this lightning symbol to see a list of Tesla Supercharging stations near you. Superchargers will be shown as red pins where as other non-tesla chargers will be gray. Once you arrive at your desired Tesla Supercharging station, back into an available spot, bringing the rear of the car close (28”) to the charging stall or wall. You can open the charging port located on the rear driver side of the vehicle by tapping the lightning bolt symbol on the display on the left side of the screen next to the image of the Tesla. You can also open the port by pressing on the charging port cover on the outside rear corner of the Tesla. Once the port is open, pull out the Tesla charging cable and plug it into the charging socket. Then, look at the screen inside of the car. You’ll see “Starting to Charge” for a bit until the charge begins. Then, the estimated time for the charge to complete will appear on the screen. Below this, you’ll see a battery icon with a button “set limit” underneath it. Click on “set limit” and adjust the percentage you wish to charge up to based on if you’re driving far or locally. Tesla will monitor how much kWh of charging you use during your trip and you will be charged $0.28/kWh - $0.50/kWh used. Set a timer on your phone for 10 minutes before the charge is complete to avoid paying idle fees from Tesla. Once the charge is complete, Unplug by pressing the circle on the charger handle once and pull the charger out of the port. Then, magnetize the charger back into the station and you’re all set!
