Great car, runs smooth, no issues, can tell owner went out of way to get car cleaned and full tank of gas before renting out, responds quick

Although I know that Alexander is really not at fault here, the truth is the car did break down on us in the middle of Joshua Tree National Park where we barely had any phone service. The car stopped in the middle of the road THREE times and the third time the steering wheel and brake pad got locked and we almost would’ve crashed. I have wasted enough of my time trying to deal with Turo, hence this review is so short because I am tired. Their service through this whole situation was nothing but a joke.

Yes, unfortunately the car did break down because of a faulty mass air flow sensor! The location of where the car broke down, made cell service was spotty, which makes the Turo app almost obsolete. I was trying to mediate both Turo roadside assistance and the guest, while they had already contacted AAA. Understandably a stressful situation, I probably would have done the same, unfortunately protocol was not followed and roadside assistance was not contacted, it was a perfect storm for all! Sorry
