Description

What is there not to say about this wonderful Tesla. Dual motor allows for great range and able to go 0-60 in 3.9 seconds with the acceleration package. All the options purchased with full self driving package. Front and back storage for a great beach trip. In the trunk you will find charging adaptors however don’t worry about charging. Always comes fully charged. A great car to explore the future of the auto industry and cruise around beautiful San Diego with. AutoPilot To engage the AutoPilot Feature, a steering wheel icon must appear on the information screen next to your speedometer. When it appears, simply tap down three times on the gear shift to engage AutoPilot once you see the steering wheel icon. If the steering wheel icon does not appear next to the speedometer, the onboard self driving computer does not recognize a safe road to drive on. Please note, this feature will not stop at stop signs and red lights. How do I charge the Car? The Tesla Model 3 has a built-in charge location finder on the car’s GPS system. On the 15” display, on the left side of the interactive map, there is an electricity icon. Pressing it will display all nearby Tesla Superchargers (Red on the Map)and regular EV charging stations (gray on the map). Other ways to find chargers nearby you is the PlugShare app downloadable from the App Store. There are multiple ways to open the Model 3’s charge port. The two of the easiest ways are 1. Simply press the cover of the charge port (rear driver’s side adjacent to the tail light) 2. Press the charge icon on the screen display while the car is in park. To close the charge port, simply disconnect from the charger and go inside the car and it will close on its own. If it does not close please close from the screen. NEVER force close. TESLA SUPERCHARGING If you are at a Tesla SuperCharging Station, locations available from the onboard GPS system, simply plug there Supercharge cable into the Model 3 Charge Port to begin charging. (Please note: Tesla SuperCharging costs about $0.21 per kWh, or about $0.05 per mile. I will ask for reimbursement for any Supercharging at the end of the rental period.) Please Take Caution to not incur any charging Idle fees. Disconnect as soon as vehicle is charged or idle fees will apply to your charging period. What are Charging Idle Fees? All EVs can incur an idle fee that starts after a grace period of 5 minutes when charging is complete. For every additional increment of time which is regulated by the charger, that the car remains connected to the charger and the vehicle remains in an “idle” state where the vehicle is not charging, will incur this fee. Third Party EV Charging: You can also charge at third party EV chargers. This Tesla includes with the rental a Tesla J-1772 adaptor which is the most universally accepted connector at charging stations, as well as a Tesla ChaDeMo adaptor, usable at third party DC Fast Chargers. When using third party chargers, please note you will be a mobile phone payment for many third party chargers. Charging You can also charge by plugging into a regular wall outlet. Cables and adaptors are included in the trunk and must be returned back at the end of the rental. In the case that they went missing there will be a $600 replacement charge added to your Turo Reservation. What if I am returning the car late? If you are returning the car late, simply adjust your reservation using the Turo App so you will be protected with insurance coverage on your extended trip. Please Note that sometimes the car will have a back-to-back booking and in this case the rental period cannot be extended. Any late return that is unable to be extended will lead to a late return fee according to Turo regulations.

All pets are welcome! Please return the car cleaned of all pet hair. If pet is traveling, please insure all pet hair is removed from vehicle upon return or a cleaning fee of $100 will be applied. No Smoking. This car is not 420 friendly. All SuperCharging fees will be requested for reimbursement after the rental period ends. Please do not let the car battery go low below below 5% / 10 miles as this will damage the battery life of the car. There are plenty of charging stations in San Diego to charge it anytime. Please avoid bringing excess sand, dirt, and sharp objects inside the Tesla to avoid damage and excess cleaning to the seats and interior trim. Notice: The car will only be driven in the USA. If the car leaves the US and enters Mexico, the car will be disabled remotely.
