The car was fine and what we expected. The experience was not. The owner charged us $250 for smudges on the apparently that were made by the wheels on our suitcase? He does not have an estimate or quote from a repair shop, it’s just an arbitrary figure he came up with. We asked for a quote or estimate and he is unable to produce it. If we damaged the car we were willing to pay for it but we want to make sure our money is actually paying for the repair. There was previous minor damage to the car when we rented it (large scrape on front bumper, hubcap with large scrape) that we can only assume the previous renters were charged for those repairs but the repairs never made.
The report he filed with Turo claimed the car had damages from a collision (never happened) and after we objected, we got a statement saying the marks were probably caused by the suitcase. We were unaware of any damages whatsoever and I did not notice any marks when I took my post-rental photos.
I don’t think Turo should be allowing an owner to to ask for damages without documentation. This seems a scam to me.

The car was fine basically. new car can’t go too wrong, great on gas if you’re going to fly in you get shuttle to and from just you have to pay lot fees for car bring left there that should be advertised so patrons know what there total amounts are for there trips

The car was as advanced, practically brand new. The parking garage was a bit confusing getting off and parking back on the roof. They need much better signs.
For some reason, the address for the Sheraton shows up on some of the correspondence. That is also confusing and needs to go away.
