Where will the car be located?
We have two location options for vehicle pickup. Option 1 is a residential area located approximately 2 miles from San Diego International Airport, just a quick Uber ride away. This is the default option. Option 2 is the Old Town Transit Center Parking Lot, which is accessible via a FREE trolley from the airport. The car will be parked on the side of the lot in between the tracks and Pacific Highway. You need to notify 42 hours before your trip. Or book to the Old Town Transit Center location. A location pin for the car’s exact location, along with instructions on how to unlock the vehicle will be sent to you when you are on your way to the vehicle.
How do I access the FREE shuttle that goes to the Old Town Transit Center?
Leaving the airport from Terminal 1: From baggage claim, proceed outside. You will cross the crosswalk and walk to the island marked “Courtesy Vehicles.” Wait at the curb by the sign that says “Old Town Shuttle.” Leaving the airport from Terminal 2: From baggage claim, proceed outside. Cross the street and walk toward the signs that say “Taxi/Hotel/Rental Car Shuttles.” Walk to the 2nd island and down to the area marked “Courtesy Shuttles.” Stand between the 2 orange/blue pillars, next to the sign for “Old Town Shuttle.” This is not operated by us.
